The forecast is VERY long range, but seriously? MORE RAIN..... ugh. This one could be ugly, both the weather and the game.
We have no chance against Dos Santos, Keane, Ashley Cole, Zardes, Gerrard, de Jong, Juninho, Gonzalez, Ruiz, Jones, Landon Donovan AND David Beckham. 1-0 loss.
I voted draw, but this'll be a classic Union Asterisk win. This game is sandwiched between a Sunday Home Game and a Saturday Home Game for LA. Bruce won't bring his stars across the country. This'll be just like the Seattle Game last season.
It will be interesting to see what lineup the Galaxy use. They play at home three days earlier but have eleven days off after this game. (Their next game is not the following weekend but the weekend after that.) Meanwhile, the Union have eleven days off prior to the game but then play three days later in Montreal followed by two straight double game weeks.
Lawnmower back for this one ? Better poll : Which Unioner has their season ended ? They usually lose this what, 4 or 5 to 1 right...............maybe a closer L due to weather.
I barely trust a 3 day forecast yet alone a 8 day one. It's already back to Partly Cloudy w/ 20% chance of rain. 3 days between games on opposite coasts? That's some terrible scheduling by MLS. At least it's in our favor.
Where are you coming from? The fastest way from Center City to Chester on a game day often is to go over the Ben or the Walt, down 295 and back over the Commodore Barry. It avoids the problems on 95 and the backups exiting 95 to get to the parking lots.
Against my better judgement, I vote tie. The short week forces LA to rest a few starters. We capitalize on their fatigue with a defensive approach, high tempo aggressive counterattack and winning set pieces.
That's why you get an EZ-Pass. I have one and haven't paid a toll in years! I wonder why other people haven't figured this out.
How many of those guys ever played against the Union in Philly, even when they were on the Galaxy? Not many.
