If I'm Costil there's no way I'm coming with all of these keepers here. In early summer Dragowski would already have to be loaned out and Tata sold. Even then, though, to transfer to Italian club with, maybe, an Italian international GK... Probably not.

You have a point but consider that if Costil comes here this summer, it will be because Corvino will have done the deal with him now, possibly showing him this outlook: Tata gone, Drago loaned out and Sportiello as his only competition, with the latter being on loan therefore not an asset of the club, unlike Costil.
The wish to compete in Serie A for a Ligue 1 keeper could seal the deal

Seems like Kalinic to China is a done deal 40-45M Euros.

    • No idea at all why you've got Kalinic
    • Hard working, decent hold up play but not a good finisher. Surprised at the move
    • Kalinic makes Gomez look like Drogba.
    • Kalinic is just awful.
    • He used to play for Blackburn where he was terrible, unless he's undergone a skills transplant I don't see it being any different
    • He was terrible at Blackburn and never rated him for the national team either. Kalinic looked like he was playing on ice skates whenever I watched him play.
    • Kalinic? Weren't you guys trying to upgrade? Terrible player really. Blackburn reject, and never was really that high scoring for Dnipro. Certainly not a finisher by any means

Some things said about Kalinic on the XT forum when we signed him for 4-6M Euros a year-and-a-half ago. Now the club is selling him for 10x that amount and he's really been terrific for us, it must be said.

Is this final? From what I'v e seen, the press still thinks it is up in the air. I saw Corvino mentioned that if he is sold the total amount will not be reinvested. Any idea if we're trying to find some/any field player this winter to spend some of that money in - hopefully that's the delay?

Not even close to being final. I think Kalinic even said he doesn't want to go. Maybe Gabbiadini to replace him if he goes?

We got a 19-year-old center back named Julian Illanes. Going to the Primavera.

-Kalinic rumour mill still spinning. Possible replacements include Andone, Destro, Gabbiadini & Seferovic.
-Zarate and Watford deal might be going through
-Gonzalo's agent considering offers as no new contract is proposed by the club
-Rossi will leave Celta De Vigo at the end of the seaon.

Personally I like the idea of Andone. He's only 23, strong, good in the air and skillful. Probably the most exciting Romanian striker since Mutu.

Kalinic came out today and said he will reject offers and stay with us. The club released a press statement saying the same. This is good news in my eyes as the club was not planning on reinvesting the money we'd get from him. I think they're starting to budget even more saving for the stadia

Zarate-Watford moves are finalising. Rumour is €2.7m on a permanent deal. At least this will free up €1.5m in wages....

I read a few articles on it. It seems like a waste of funds.

We got the two young Bari players we've been heavily linked to.

    • Gaetano Castrovilli is a winger/trequartista type, I think. He'll start off with the Primavera. Loan with a mandatory buy-out.
    • Giuseppe Scalera is a right back, I believe. He'll start off with the Primavera. Loan with an option to buy.

Corvino has a lot of ties to Puglia, remember, and he's big on building the youth sides.

    Grande Kalinic!!!

Get rid of Zarate, not shure if i like, but anyway next Summer Rossi is back i hope in full shape.

And no need of an old Cassano. Kalinic, Rossi, Babacar, Chiesa/Hagi/Perez good enough for the future.

Getting back Jovetic would have been the right move but he explodes now at FC Sevilla, really happy for him.

Zarate to Watford is official (€2.75m) on a 2.5 year deal

Caceres & Giaccherini on our radars. I would really like Caceres, he's solid.

David Kownacki from Lech Poznan is the big target of the day. 19-year-old, Polish striker.

His goal against us in EL.

And supposedly the Chinese are doubling plan, preparing to trigger Kalinic' release clause (50M, I think).

Honestly, if he is willing to go we need to take that money and run.

I forget if it was the Della Valle's or Corvino but one of them said that the 50m would not be reinvested for more players...
