away to brentford, one of pook's favorite grounds... can't wait to see what surprises await this weekend..?
Wednesday apparently utterly dominant ... fall behind against the run of play ... and end up just snatching a point at the end. I haven't seen the highlights yet, but it sounds as though Joao has missed a sitter from point blank range. the points will come, and I suspect Wednesday will be competing for playoff positions again this year; but automatic looks beyond them in current form.
edit: incidentally, if one watches the youtube highlights from the BeesPlayer, the Brentford commentary makes it clear that the flag had gone up for Joao's miss. He was offside, and it wouldn't have counted, anyway.
That is the upside to the break. i enjoy watching the US play and I love them, but I prefer club ball.
I don't see automatic promotion ... but the playoffs are very much in the picture. i'd guess 5th or 6th.
yeah, unless we can get our shit together, we're looking at a serious regression this year. i'm still thinking positively, though. hopefully we put that start to the season behind and regrouped during this international break.
you're worse than I am regarding Spurs! 10th-13th!! two wins on the trot and you'll be all 'we will win the league!'. there's some real talent at Wednesday these days. Carlos will sort it.
what's a 'bugaboo'? since returning to the championship in 2012, Wednesday have won 5, drawn 2, and lost 1 to Birmingham City. they own Brum.
wow. bugaboo - bad luck, a team we don't do well against... seems the other way around... and now 5-2-2 ?
