Ofcourse Davis better defensively than Love.. ffs. He's also more athletic and led all bigs with steals... cmon man
Speaking of Howard.. I just seen a play where Rudy Gay slams it on two Hawk players with AUTHORITY.. Howard? he was watching from inside the paint as he offered zero help. Howard is over the hill... Atlanta won't be anything beyond middle of the conference.
Yeah as the season goes on he will probably cause more issues and get more women pregnant, what a lovely Christian man lol I would trade Noel because he is not happy and will never contribute offensively with his stone hands He's a great mobile c in terms of help side and steals but still not amazing in the post due to his body size and can only finish oops on offence or put backs Okafor is intriguing because he can be like a lantern in a second unit even if he's horrific as a defender
I'll give you Markieff Morris and a pick for him. Morris is from Philly, so it'll be a feel good story. We desperately need some defense inside since we are never going to get any from the wings -- maybe from Porter if you're lucky. Gortat plays better alongside another defender (see Nene from 2+ years ago).
Davis is overall a better player than Love, but I think his number are inflated - it's easier to get those types of numbers on a team that likely won't win 30 games in the season. Signing that extention in New Orleans doesn't seem like that bright of an idea anymore, eh? I think he'll leave just when he'll enter his prime.
Love is not in the same league as ad but is a great stretch 4 shooter and rebounder Davis would eat him alive inside
two egos, two distinct personalities, two different mindsets. I admire what WB is doing, but can't knock what KD decided to do. meh it is what it is.
Eh,.. Ideally I'd prefer that my PG plays more under control than Westbrook at times. He definitely has heart and freaky athleticism though.
Looks like the Clippers still haven't worked out how not to royally screw up the last minute of games. RWB is insane. I've been posting his highlights in this thread for years so it's nice seeing him branch out on his own and get everyone's attention. I worry about his one man wrecking ball approach later in the season and in the playoffs. Thunder didn't do so well when it was just him in the postseason. One cool new wrinkle from his post game interview: he said when he gets to the free throw line, he now slows down and takes a deep breath before the shot. Well, it isn't helping his FT% but it's more to get himself to relax and focus so he's not just white knuckle the whole game. Hopefully this approach serves him well this year.
Jordan Clarkson sticks out like a sore thumb right now. Tons of me-first, "I'm going to get mine" isos when he's on the floor. The offence stops moving when he's on the ball.
Wade worked big time on his 3 point shooting this offseason, he has more threes this year in 5 games then he had entire last year.
