Roster for the Germany friendlies announced! 4 U17 kids make it: captain LCM (who apparently signed for uni? Did not know), CB/DM LSM, RW/LW KJY, and RB/RW YJG
Update: The NT played friendly vs Yongin City FC (of National League) and won 1-0. The goalscorer was maknae Cho Young-wook. Ahn Ik-soo said after the match, "If our team's goal is 10 we are currently around 4 to 5. After the training camp in Germany, we will be around 6 hopefully." Ahn Ik-soo asked "who wants to be the captain?" Han Chan-hee put his hands up alone so he became the captain. [Ahn Ik-soo's philosophy is that rotating captains regularly will be helpful to developing the team to become one] Whenever the team meets up, the players are given a mandatory task of bringing a book they want to read. Ahn Ik-soo wants the players to read more. [Ahn Ik-soo's states that the players have a hard time expressing themselves so he wants them to read and find ways to express their thoughts through reading. Then he might have more players with their hands up when choosing the captain (little laugh). He also states "Reading is also training". Also says "the players are given freedom to read what they want right now but I do recommend towards humanities (인문학)"]. We will also have a friendly with Schalke U-19 after the two Germany U-19 friendlies.

[Match 1: Germany U-19 1-0 Korea U-19] -Lee Dong-jun (14') -Philipp Ochs (42') -Cedric Teuchert (71')
We don't know, it wasn't broadcasted. The match was scheduled for broadcast (I even checked MBC Sports + schedule) but they didn't for some reason. No one did.
Btw, Hwang Sun-hong also watched the friendly alongside Cha Du-ri. Hwang Sun-hong is currently in Germany studying (last reports were that he was allowed to study with teams like Hertha Berlin, Dortmund, Monchengladbach and also AS Roma thanks to KFA president Chung Mong-gyu).
http://sports.news.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=139&aid=0002053219 Apparently, the assist for Kim Dong Jun came from a offsides beating pass from Han Chan Hee. It was such a perfect pass the entire stadium reacted loudly to it. Moreover AIS made TEN SUBS in the second half. He wants the players to independently figure things out on their own - that is, he didn't give many instructions and fielded ten subs in halftime alone hoping the players would find and correct their own mistakes. Han Chan Hee says the pitch in Europe is a lot softer than the pitch in Korea and they had a tough time adapting as it put a lot of strain in their legs. Park Han Bin says that as time went on they had physical/stamina shortcomings. Seeing the German player's passing, dribbling, and movement made him reconsider his own According to Kim Jin Ya, there are many differences in the way Korean defenders defend and how European players defend. Namely, in Korea, you can dribble past players without too many changes of direction, but with European defenders you have to make a lot of quick changes of directions, otherwise you'd lose the ball right away. Moreover, the German players had an uncanny ability to get the second ball rebound - their positioning was apparently much better than ours. Woo Chan Yang says there was a massive gap in physicality, and says there is a very long way to go if they are to go anywhere near the semifinals in the U20 WC. Says the team has a lot to think about now.

http://m.sports.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=413&aid=0000032505 Here's a bit of news. Cha senior has been appointed assistant director for u-20 team. This after almost 20 yrs since kfa fired cha senior after the second game of World Cup 1998. As an assistant director, likely he'll help on organizing friendlies and scouting. Kfa is all in on 2017 u-20 World Cup which all of you know that our homeland will host the competition.
