Not bad for a Wednesday night! We had a good crowd and great play! Charlotte should have had the win!

Even with T2 crowds having halved, its still better than S2 (Barely), it was a good start but everything has gone downhill in the last few month's. Los Dos having nobody? not even 100? seems beyond odd.
Officially, the attendance is not "0", it just hasn't been posted. It was the second game of a double header with the first team. As well, it was also during the STH event. There certainly were people watching the game, how many I cannot say, but it makes for a difficult time coming up with a count. They may eventually post an attendance.
As was reported elsewhere, officials at the MLS match told at least some fans that there was no doubleheader Sunday. This from the MLS 2015 Week 22 attendance analysis thread... What I said was simply an exaggeration of how fer people were there for the Los Dos match.
Oh, I knew what you were going for, I was just updating the readers of the thread on why it was a strange situation. Still, I'm surprised at the fan being told there was no second game. I would assume it's more likely that the employee was misinformed and knew that the boxes were to be closed (as they wouldn't want to have to staff the boxes for the G2 game). Still, a strange situation for sure.
since i was the one who originally made the quote: I made the same assumption. However it's not like someone else owns the stadium AEG/LAG own it, so it is their own employees that don't seem to know what is going on. I completely understand not wanting to provide free food, and staffing for a second game. However a simple: saying: you are welcome to move down closer to the field and enjoy the second game for free would have been simple and straight forward. secondly: this Seattle/LAG was a sold out game, and a packed parking lot. A simply enjoy this free second game while the parking lot clears out, would have been a good suggestion.
I'm a Galaxy season ticket holder and I was really looking forward to the "free" second game. However, after the season ticket holders town hall meeting that started at 3:45 and walking around four 45 minutes getting 19 Galaxy players to sign a soccer ball, I was only able to catch the last 15 minutes of the game. I think this affected attendance as the die hard Galaxy fans (the season ticket holders...) were standing in lines trying to get autographs. I also don't remember them announcing the game during the Seattle game. There might of been a few hundred people watching it. The loudest group was maybe 15 visiting fans who sat behind me (They seemed to be kind of obnoxious, at one point it sounded like they were cheering Galaxy player injuries). Anyway, I do remember sitting there thinking, if the LA II can't get more than a few hundred of the 27,000 people who were effectively given a free ticket and were actually in the stadium an hour before to stick around and watch this game, than the USL is in trouble (or at least the MLS reserve teams in USL). I was a season ticket holder for the Blues in 2012 and I remember the games having the same "I'm at a cemetery and I must be very quite and respectful" feel to them. By the way, why can't I see this thread unless I google it?
Because the USL forum has so many pinned subjects. @ Montreal: 207 @ Harrisburg: 2,846 @ RBNY2: 714 @ Tulsa: 3,447 @ Colorado Springs: 3,152
That was probably our worst crowd I've ever seen in Tulsa. I'd expect a decent crowd tonight and a very large crowd for OKC, so we'll make up for that.
Oklahomans will simply not show up for weekday games. (edited to add before someone else plays semantics: Yes, Thunder sellouts on Wednesday night, right - I meant all other things being equal. A major-league juggernaut does not change the theorems for minor-league sports.)
Yes, it's hard to compare anything to a pro basketball team with 2 of the top 5 best players in the world right now. I'll do a prediction that we bring in 5500 tonight and 7000 for OKC to finish the season to offset those weekday games.

According to my numbers the league has broken the 1 Million barrier. That is an average of 3,312 per match with three matches currently counting a zero attendance, Toronto 2-Aug 8, Galaxy II-Aug 9 and Harrisburg Sep 6. Harrisburg is always late, so I expect to see their number after the HAC (Harrisburg Attendance Committee) decides what number to post.
I don't know what happened, but I thought I posted this past weekend's numbers. At least Saturday's. @ Toronto: 378 @ Portland: 2,725 @ Pittsburgh: 2,199 @ Richmond: 3,411 @ Charlotte: 2,013 @ NYRB2: 576 @ Austin: 5,055 @ OC: 3,000 @ Arizona: 3,314 @ Vancouver: 1,294 @ Harrisburg: ... @ Tulsa: 6,005
