I don't think that word means what you think it means.

    Thx,

Actually, it is a moot point, but never mind. (One must maintain standards, mustn't one?)

I love to hear Miles Davis play ballads, or blues, with a Harmon moot.

Looks like improper use of an exclamation point to me.

A long layoff between games reduces our usual incisive commentary to japery. Let it always be so.

Ahh, the hallmark of a lost Internet argument. A truly successful troll would never acknowledge his actions, making the victory that much sweeter.

    Thx,

    Jay!

So......SKC made it to the Open Cup final against Philly. That must be a mistake because I've read that the Open Cup is only for teams that have nothing to play for while SKC is likely to be in the playoffs and fighting for the Supporter's Shield. I guess no one told them this trophy doesn't matter.

We could have handled the QuarterFinals on July 14/21, but a congested schedule would have hampered us since then.

The SemiFinals were last night (Wed) and we play NYCFC tonight (Thurs), with a CCL game next Wed and San Jose on Sat.

And the Finals are scheduled for Wed Sept 30th, right in between Montreal on Sat and NYCFC (again) on Fri. Now maybe that could be pushed to the following week, since we have a big gap then, but the real problem isn't Supporters Shield and US Open Cup, its the CCL and the US Open Cup at the same time.

Having nothing to play for doesn't excuse the way we got bounced … When you're up a man and a goal and still lose, you deserve shame and ridicule.

I don't mind an early exit from the Cup, especially in a CL year. But at least do it with some dignity and lose 3-0 …

I don't know why but I am somewhat tempted to make the drive up and go see the final...

US Open Cup should be played before MLS season starts, so you have some "real games" in the legs where the 3 points matter

Interesting idea. Maybe replace the all farce game at mid season with the final.
