The league site didn't distinguish those games, but they will be 5/24 vs. Orlando at Levi's (Sunday of Memorial Day weekend) and 6/27 vs. LA at Stanford.

That's the best they could do for a game at Levi's? Would that date/matchup even sell out at Avaya?

Orlando may have some big star player(s) that will help sell it out ... plus the team will give away free tickets to every AYSO team under the sun most likely

OK, this is the place for the interminable complaints about every little thing that we find wrong with the schedule.

Easter Sunday? Is there really a game on Easter Sunday? (April 5 this year.) That's going to be a tough sell for my family.

Is that right, 7 of the last 8 at home?

edit. For the last game, Quakes site lists us as the home team, but, says at FC Dallas Stadium.

Also, it shows Philly here on 9-5, not 8-5.

I think the Philly match you list on 8/5 is on 9/5, at least, according to the MLS and Philly websites. There is a discrepancy with the San Jose website for that game. 10/25 is at Dallas.

6 Sundays; 4 Fridays; only 6 (probably 7) Saturdays. Kind of weird.

I really don't see much wrong with the schedule. I think I might come to like the Friday night 8 o clocker. The Sundays are fine with me, but I can see how they can be a bitch.

We'll have a better schedule next year after a crappy season and new stadium tv slots go away.

It's weird b/c of the new TV contracts that start this year.

Anyway, all of this is moot b/c the season won't start on time. Hello CBA work stoppage.

I don't think too many games at Avaya will be a tough ticket. The first one; LA; Portland and Seattle, if they bring a lot of supporters.

Season tickets only fill half the stadium. We'll know better next week when they go on general sale.

our current 'crop' will not sellout Avaya unfortunately, but JD seems to think so.

wonder how many kaka will bring to Levi's.

I could definitely see a work stoppage happening but it won't last very long... you expect a union with a sizable percentage of guys on 40-80k to maintain a work stoppage for any serious length of time? Hell, even the guys on 100-200k... most of them have children now, they can't go that long without a paycheck.

Thank you "local 11" for a simple list of home games I can copy and print. Now I can book my flights to SJC from PDX. So excited to be able to go to 3 games when I'm in town. Hope I can get a ticket for the home opener! I'll have to hit up all my friends!

We're going to have a bright shiny new stadium, one of the best in the league, and we're going to play a game at that polished turd called Levi's that's only 5 miles away? Yeah, that makes sense.
