Zhang Xizhe in Wolfsburg, Wang Shangyuan in Club Brugge, and a lot of players in Portugal. Let's see can they make a difference for this year..
A little late but Li Yuanyi scored his first goal for Leixoes on Jan 4th in a 1-2 loss against Oriental in the Segunda Liga in Portugal, it seems he has started in the most recent games. Also Huang Wei and Tan Yang are getting regular play time for SC Farense, also in Segunda Liga. Tan Yang actually scored a brace in a 3-0 win against Leixoes on Dec 21st.
Li Yuanyi's goal starts at 0:33, very nice touch to bring the ball down then a calm finish past the keeper.
Zhang Xizhe played the second half in a friendly against Ajax Cape Town, he got one assist. Wolfsburg won 4-1
A lot of Wolfsburg supporters said that he had an impressive "unofficial" debut. Here's hoping for more!
Wei Shihao started and was subbed out the 71st min in a 1-0 loss away to Sporting Lissabon in the League Cup.
Apparently Wei played great in his first start for Boavista. Some of the fans have said he deserves more playing time after his performance today. Good sign!!
Hopefully that's true, because he hasn't been a part of the squad in the league for a while now. He has only played in the Cup recently
Highlights of Wolfsburgs friendly are up on their official website https://www.vfl-wolfsburg.de/info.html It seems Zhang left a good impression to the coach with him already linking up well with the team. Almost got another assist and could've had gotten a goal aswell in that same sequence.
Thanks, that was a good assist, even if the defenders had pretty much given up long before that point. Too bad he couldn't tuck away that easy chance in the box. Good to see him getting some time to play with the first team.
Wolfsburg just signed Schurrle from Chelsesa. Will that impact Zhang Xizhe in any way for getting playing time?
It's not officially confirmed yet, but it does look like the move will happen. It probably will impact Zhang if he is played on the left wing, but Zhang is predominantly an attacking midfielder. He'll probably be competing against De Bruyne and Hunt for the no. 10 role.
http://www.lavenir.net/sports/cnt/dmf20150129_00593692 Chinese U23 and Chengdu Tiancheng defender, Yang Ting, has signed with the 2nd division Belgian side, AFC Tubize.
I don't understand a move to the MLS. In his situation, a move back to the CSL would be a much wiser decision career wise. The level of competition in the CSL will likely surpass the MLS in quality this season.
Only if he ends up on a top team in CSL, will he have a better training/competitive environment. Though if he still wants a move to a league overseas, he'd get way more exposure in MLS than in CSL.
Wei Shihao started and played the full 90 minutes for Boavista in a Taca da Liga game, losing 3-0 to Vitoria Setubal. Highlights: http://desporto.sapo.pt/futebol/taca_da_liga/videos/taca-da-liga-setubal-boavista/
