I thought I'd start an actual 2015 NWSL College Draft thread since the day is upon us tomorrow. We can move from the Mock Draft to comments on what actually happens tomorrow and beyond.
Dan Lauletta @TheDanLauletta 19s20 seconds ago As for draft, word is at least two teams are trying to crash the Top 5 or 8. Also heard Top 8 are mostly set. Time will tell. #NWSL
Very interesting. Could there be trades? I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Stars trade one first round draft pick for a few at lower rounds, with so many kids putting their name in the hat for the draft.
Trades are always possible, but at this point, with the draft less than 24 hours away, I think the odds of one are slim.
Jen Cooper, Houston Dash color commentator, host of Keeper Notes podcast, and all-around WoSo expert, is covering the draft tomorrow starting at 9:15 EST. She has a Mixlr set up for live audio and analysis. I believe this is the link: http://mixlr.com/keepernotes/
Jeff Hustead is where I get my KC gossip. He tweeted something along the lines of, "I think the FCKC Crew are going to be making some moves we will be talking about for awhile." He's usually vague but right in some regard. I just hope it's not something crazy like giving up Hagen or Tymrak...I want Groom but not THAT bad. http://www.thebluetestament.com/2015/1/16/7556005/fc-kansas-city-2015-nwsl-draft-preview Apparently their strategy will be "best available in areas of identified need." They didn't say what those areas are but also suggested that everyone thinks we need defenders, but that's not all. I'm going to be completely worthless at work today.

Jen Cooper's KeeperNotes live webcast on Mixlr (see link above) is great - can hear the speakers great. And Jen knows what she is talking about.
