Similar to the Mavs IMO; bad, but not quite enough to get themselves into any sort of really good pick. Washington
I like the Wiz, but unfortunately I think they get bounced out in the second round to a team like Cleveland. But in a closer than people expect, series. Atlanta
I'm conflicted about Atlanta. I was ridiculously wrong about them being a contender, and got doused with cold water consistently on them in the playoffs. But I'm a sucker for them, so I'm going to say that they'll be in the thick of it as a 2nd-tier team in the East behind Cleveland but being competitive with everyone else.
Their frontcourt was already intimidating. Now it's even more. So much for them giving up depth for LA.
Jesus that's one bit chap. Weird he's not averaging g ten boards a game though as zone defence makes it even easier
He did average almost 11 boards in 28 minutes per game in the Euroleague. Also scored 16 points. Unlike most European players, he looks like he can physically compete in the NBA right from the start. He's also very agile for a guy his size and height. Very nice pick up for the Spurs IMO. So is Kyle Anderson on the trading block now?
There's more to rebounding than size. Hibbert shows us that. Anyways, I really like draftexpress' videos, so here's one for Marjanovic.
So some Clippers fans have come up with a new nickname for the bench... Suicide squad. This name is perfect.
Rockets traded for Lawson. It would seem to me that the West is shaking up like this: Tier One: Golden State San Antonio Tier Two: Oklahoma City Houston LAC Memphis No one else is close to being a contender.
With the addition of Kanter, their defence went into total meltdown mode, but they basically have to play him because they are now paying him megabucks. I just think he was a toxic add to the team, and I question whether Westbrook's mentality of constantly attacking and taking shots regardless of efficiency is conducive to a championship-calibre team.
Ibaka is not getting benched. And if he did get benched, are you going to trust Steven Adams with protecting the rim against the NBA's best?
Okey dokey, we can revisit OKC at that point, but until then, I don't think it prudent to consider them a "Tier-One team" on par with Golden State or San Antonio.
Westbrook Durant and Ibaka if healthy can do a lot of damage - the only reason to knock them down a peg for me is health questions.
