Alejandro thinks DC is good enough to punish the Red Bulls if they make a mistake. I'm not convinced.
Nah, ya'll suck. I do think that D.C. have had the better chances over the two legs so far though. That's more an indictment of New York than an endorsement of D.C.
There's just not enough quality on the field for DC; I don't see who a goal is going to come through. You have a corpse, an out of shape DeLeon, and a Espindola that's past it.
Definitely go. Unless you are a real archaeology geek or love hiking, three days is sufficient. If you wanted to hike around the island or spend a lot of time looking at the statues and other sites, then plan on a week. The first time I was there I spent one full month - it was fantastic. That was before the island was taken over by cars. The island is not in the tropics, so can get chilly at night in the southern Winter but otherwise is quite pleasant. Also, I recommend doing it as part of a trip to Tahiti (Tahiti itself isn't so nice but the islands around it are fantastic - buy a Lagoon pass from Air Tahiti and you can hop around the different Tuamotu Islands and Mo'orea at your own pace).
Uggghh. I wish ESPN would turn off the supporter's mic. Their songs just sound so unenthusiastic and I literally feel uncomfortable listening. I had to mute it.
Watching the North London Derby this morning, the difference that I was most struck by between that game and MLS generally was the 4th official's board operating skills.* He threw up 3 minutes of stoppage, did a quick wave, flipped the board down and had Tottenham's substitution up and correct in like, 2 seconds. * - Mostly being sarcastic, but I did laugh at how quickly he did it.
Kitchen got his money worth there. Not really sure why though, seemed like enough other DC players were back in defense
I was going to say that they seem about 10 times more enthusiastic than anyone actually on the field.
