The team have not prepared for the match at all and are taking the opponent lightly. It appears only select matches are thoroughly prepared for. The rest are played according to Dortmund default: hurl the ball forward, hope it lands in an advantageous position; if it doesn't, waste a ton of energy trying to retrieve the ball only to hurl the ball forward in hopes it lands in an advantageous position.
Because Shinji needs rest and isn't well-suited to pointlessly chasing down hopeless balls, which is basically our whole offense.
We're staring at a senseless 0:0 draw or even a freak loss. Of course the rhetoric will be "we have bad luck vs HSV" and not "we collectively jerked off instead of preparing for it"
It's a fair point only if we play with the same XI every matchday. We have plenty of youngsters hungry to prove themselves against a relegation opponent.
We play nothing alike last week.We haven't tried anything but long balls that have resulted in nothing. We're playing the same way as we have during most of the season, resulting in a horrendous run of outcomes. It has very little to do with tiredness,a lot more with Klopp's tactics if you could call them that.
He could have played Kehl instead of Bender and Ciro instead of Auba. Sahin and Durm were out, Sokratis and Kampl had problems this week and Kuba is not fit for 90 minutes as well. Ginter was not an option.
Just one goal is all we need to scrap a win. How is it so hard against a team that got shellacked 8-0!!!
