With the lack of investment the probaly should considering Operario in the Terceira have much more will to do well But Santa Clara will probaly stay up per usual I am very dissapointed in SC Farense considering they are such a historic club and I have seen 2 games live one at the São Luis the other at the Estadio Algarve
Santa Clara Cagou!!! you know they would never achieve anything the minute they copied Benfica's identity in terms of badge and kit colours. They should be proud of where they are from, I think a club from Azores should be blue / white like the flag they have. Investors should consider forming a club or something there are plenty of Azorean expats who probably have the funds to contribute (the ones who didn't waste it all on booze, at least) How is Lusitania doing these days? Aren't they the ones who copy Sporting colours?
Chaves look like they will be prompted They have a decent number of people at games Play in a nice Stadium too
Chaves only missed out on promotion last season cause they made a big cagalhão on the final match day which União took advantage of. Yeah they have a good stadium (I think the largest in the second division) history, kit (Barcelona type colours) , I think its the only club from tras os montes to ever play in the primeira.
I'm hoping to see Freamunde get promoted to the top flight for the first time in its history. Started of the season well last year but dropped out of the promotion places. This season it has been the complete opposite. Started slow but we are gaining ground. If I don't end up going to Alvalade this weekend to watch Sporting v Porto, I'll be watching Freamunde vs Benfica B so I'll provide some feedback on how both teams play.
Oliveirense get alot of fans right smackdab on the border with Spain But they are not doing to good Hopefully Tondela and Arouca get relegated and someone like Chaves, Farense get promoted
Oriental win Oliveirense 5-1 in a complete blowout both still dead last. Chaves win Braga B 3-1 away and I must say Luis Barry looks like a baller Benfica B had a late rally but lost 3-2 to Olhanese
I must say, Taarabt has put on a lot of weight. He could barely carry his arse against Freamunde. No wonder he doesn't want to play for Benfica's B team, he had to put up with a cold night in Freamunde. Much worse than Stoke. They should change the saying.
With 6 rounds to go, there are 5 teams battling it out for two spots: Chaves, Portimonense, Freamunde, Famalicao and Feirense. For the second year in a row, my home town of Freamunde is up there. We dropped off towards the end of last season but have kept up with the pack this season. If we win promotion, it will be the first time in our history that we would be in the top flight.
Chaves about to get promoted only need a win today against Farense. Portimonense also turned the year around currently in 3rd place Freamunde and Feirense with monumental collapses. Santa Clara 2 points clear from relegation
