Nice to see two japanese in same team. Hope they qualify for europa league. UCL is way too difficult to achieve, but of course it is always still possible (as Maribor did it last year) but europa league is more real for HJK Helsinki at the moment.
HJK Helsinki vs FC Lahti FT: 2-0. Havenaar 1+0 Atomu 0+2 and was clearly man of the match. Now it is no longer than 40 days until finnish premier league starts. These "league cup" games what they (teams) are playing right now are just sparring matches, so im looking forward to that time when real games begin.
You mean stadium? Of course not. Thats just training hall where they play all sparring matches in the winter and also those liiga-cup (league cup) games are just sparring matches which help teams prepare for the upcoming season. This is HJK Helsinki's home ground (which has artificial turf):
This is not directly relevant to the thread, but this seems to potentially have real implications for Japanese players seeking to play in Holland. Remember that Havenaar's family renounced Japanese citizenship, so he had to get a non-EU work permit to play for Vitesse. http://www.balglobal.com/News/NewsD...nals-exempt-from-work-permits-court-says.aspx
I thought this means that Japanese players can play in Holland without work permit, only thing is they take up a Non.EU slot of the team
