http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/engla...-pictures-kane-lloris-model-new-tottenham-kit The rate at which LA Galaxy kits have moved towards Tottenham, and now Tottenham with a “sash” it seems only a matter of time before they merge.
bleh, didn't like the "sash" on the USMNT and don't like it on Spurs either at least the logo breaks it up somewhat...
Not just released, they're wearing them against Hull. I'm typically not, but at least here it's not too fussy a design on an already busy shirt. Without the sash it's very nice.
What a piss poor kit design... Terrible sash stripes, that giant red AIA logo. Going backwards in every way possible. This kit might just foreshadow another mediocre season. Can't image it will sell well. Thanks Levy!
New kits are always met with derision, then acceptance, then wistful memories when the next kit is announced. It's the natural history of kits.
I typically really like sashes (river plate, vasco, that USA throwback, etc.), but they've contrived to make a mess of that one, for sure. splitting it into stripes and breaking it up for the sponsor looks pretty wank. I've seen us wear worse, but it's rather shit.
I remember the kits from 10-14 being almost universally praised. Like a Lloris howler, a let down was bound to happen some time and so it happened this year. That's understandable. Next year's will be a step up. It might look better with the AIA in blue but it's not going to happen.
I've probably been beaten by year's of overly complicated Galaxy sashes as this comes across as reserved & well executed. I like this considerably more than this season's monstrosity; those yellow stripes were awful.
