Good control and ... good control and good control also. Not the most thrilling game of the year so far, still highlighting the lack of efficiency in the zones that matter. Kagawa still left to be seen, have we lost this man or is he simply not suited for the system ? Inui started bright but his shortcomings are obvious.
lol 韓国の解説の人がナガトモをナガモトって言い続けるから試合内容が頭に入らないまま前半終了。こういう時に限って驚異的な活躍のナガモト。は〜頭がいたい— 鄭大世 정대세 Chong Tese (@ChongTese9) January 16, 2015
Okazaki destroys 2 Iraqi defenders simultaneously Konno on for Endo, Kiyotake on for Inui. 4-2-3-1: Gotoku, Yoshida, Morishige, Nagatomo; Hasebe, Konno; Honda, Kagawa, Kiyotake; Okazaki
Honda pls He has some great key passes during the start of the first half until he hit the post after Nagatomo's cross, now all his passes are misplaced.
They have to, now they don't have anyone to spoonfeed them those delicious through passes in the space between cbs and fullbacks.
Got the job done. Some good play at times but too inconsistent throughout the 90. Against better opposition they are going to need to take some of these chances or they're going to get punished. Always have been issues though, I suppose. What's the projected match ups for Japan after the group stage? I'm guessing UAE or Iran, then who's likely for the semi's/final?
UAE or Iran. They'll face each other on the next match. I hope for UAE: Iran's the worst opponent for Japan in this Asian Cup.
