John Buck continues to pound the baseball. What a great first couple of weeks. Matt Harvey is doing everything he can to be the ace. He's going to be fun to watch this season.

Can't they just play one in the dome?

so what do you guys think about Zack Wheeler and Travis Arnaud? I feel like been hearing these two names for years now and if it wasn't for Travis' injury we would have seen him in 2013 playing for the Mets, I suppose I'm just eager to see a Piazza and another Tesla :D

I saw an article online about and heard some talk about trading Wheeler and Arnaud (sp?) to Miami for Giancarlo Stanton. Intriguing. I doubt it will happen though.

Provided he can show consistency over a longer period of time. The guy is a dominating strike out machine!

    Now sweep Nats.

I'm hoping that playing the Marlins will cure what ails the Mets. Harvey being on the hill will help too.

Speaking of hurt, Stanton on DL now. You can't lose a series to 2013 Marlins without Stanton. That would be humiliating.

Someone needs to tell the Mets... :(

7 games under .500 already and finding new ways to lose. This team needs a winning streak and bad.

We might as well change it to the "Davis line" instead of "the Mendoza line" until Ike gets to the lofty .200 mark. I wonder if it's a coaching thing or does Ike need to show up at Spring Training earlier? Play winter ball somewhere? I don't know. Maybe he's just another Rob Deere...

Was going to troll your thread in advance of our upcoming sweep, I mean series, but after reading recent posts I feel bad for ya, lol.

Waaaay back when the Braves sucked, you used to see bumper stickers around town that said, "Go Braves... and take the Falcons with you."

These posts are reminding me of those long forgotten days. Oh, well, maybe you guys will eek out a win this weekend. Cheers.

Dude, watching the Mets game and your stadium is almost completely empty. What's the attendance? 10? 12, maybe?
