    I stayed up.
I knew once Brazoban came in for the save we were cooked.
I never want to see him pitch the 9th ever again.

hahaha...I will say that after watching the replay that home run ball was launched and it is still going!!! Nimmo still needs to make that catch...they still would have lost because the bullpen was toast at that point, but c'mon now.

His arm is like a missile launcher. He can throw it.
I think that impresses me the most. And that is saying a lot because he does many things well for a youngster.

Yep, he threw an absolute seed from 3rd base the other nite that I would have ducked if I had tried to catch it. The Phillies and Braves have collapsed this month. With 2 pitchers coming back off the DL, we are looking pretty good at the moment. My only hope is that the starters can increasingly get into the 7th inning...the bullpen has been overworked.

Hopefully we trade for better setup men and get rid of some of our mediocre bullpen pitchers.

hung a couple of curve balls that got smashed into orbit, but he hung in there last night. If Soto stays hot, nobody in the division will touch us.

Peterson helped the bullpen out last night.

Nats have scored 15 runs in June...Mets have hit 25 home runs in June.
and now a bad throw by Pete could really cost us with a torn hamstring...ugh.

New York promoted Kranick, who showed early promise in March and April with a 2.65 ERA before hitting a rough patch and being optioned. The 26-year-old righty offers the Mets a familiar arm and a chance to regain his early-season form.

Well, that was a terrible last 3 games...I just bet a parlay for the Yanks and Mets to meet in the WS...odds are about 13-1.
