FTL at ATL: 2,905 Min at IND: 10,285 OTT at NYC: 4,411 TB at SA: ??? Very disappointing number from Atlanta and an underwhelming, but reasonable number for the Cosmos. I can't find the number from San Antonio.
As the competition has improved they seem to have been slipping, not sure if it is the coaches fault or he hasn't been receiving the money to upgrade personnel. Either way, not good.
Teams ranked by increase/decrease in average from the spring: Ottawa +120.2% Minnesota +80.8% San Antonio +4.2% Indy -0.6% Edmonton -6.7% New York -11.5% Tampa Bay -14.9% Atlanta -22.4% Ft. Lauderdale -23.2% Carolina -27.9%
I think that is pretty damning to the split season format. Only San Antonio is the only established team that can legitimately say they improved without exterior help.
Indy Eleven continuing to sell out or come very close every game , I wonder if they can get any sell outs if their proposed 18,500 seat stadium is ever built?
I'd bet the first game or two in it would, after that probably only if they make it to the MLS or the NASL grows into a much stronger league.
