Savic seems solid enough to me but, since I work weekends, I don't see as many matches as the rest of these guys anymore. We seem to be trying to replace him every transfer window, though. In any case, our defense has not been problem. In eight Serie A and EL matches we've only conceded three goals and one of those was gervinho's meaningless last kick of the match goal when we were sending everyone forward.
Looks a decent enough player who still has the potential to be better, he's certainly one of the more consistent and dependable defenders in the league. Can only improve playing alongside gonzalo, and like nicky says the defence isn't really a problem and if anything looks better than last year.
Savic and Gonzalo have pretty much been rocks this season. Defense is the least of our worries right now. If we can start scoring and keep the momentum of our defenders the way it is right now, our season will be bright
