Great game from Frankfurt and from Kamada. He played very lively, holded and passed the ball with some little mistakes very well. Get praised by the german comentator for his performance, also gets good ratings.

Hope he can become the hero in the final and that Hasebe get some minutes, he deserved it.

Hasebe (sub) and Kamada (starter) both in for the EL final.

Kamada missed 2 big chances despite being a costant threat for Rangers.

    1 - 1
    10 minutes to ET.

    And they won.
Feels really good to see our boys being champions.
Hasebe gonna lift his, probably, last trophy.
Can't wait to see them play in the Champions League next season, that has eluded them a couple of times recently.

Hasebe and Kamada, exactly 20 years after Ono, won the UEFA Cup/Europa League.

I'm really really happy for Captain Hasebe, 38yo he was the best defender on the pitch, he deserved this title so much as the crowning of an illustrious career.

Kamada missed to score but he shoot a wonderful penalty giving his contribution to the final victory.

Now if Minamino will play the UCL final and score a penalty it would be even better...

While most Celtic fans focus on the loss of Rangers (I am relieved Rangers didn't win, of course), I can't help but share @teioh 's joy at a senior of the game being rewarded for his long-standing hard work with an illustrious title. I had no idea Hasebe was still an active player this year, and he got to play the majority of it. Kamada did a small, but important thing: his nerves held in the nerviest period of a football game- penalties.

A small hope that belongs to the land of fiction.
Hasebe decides: one more year. And Eintracht go on to win the CL.

I still believe he should be called for Qatar as a managing member (like Kawaguchi was involved in 2010).

A coach? Yes, to make that defense better. Nothing improves the defense like a master of reading the game and commanding the back line.

Good goal by Kamada in the cup, blasted it from the edge of the box.

    Uefa Supercup Final is tonight.
    Kamada will start.
Dunno about Hasebe. Maybe Europa League wasn't his last trophy...

Frankfurt today before the game told that they wont release Kamada and I think thats it.

They ask the sportdirector Krösche today.

I'd understand the move if he was a few years younger as Benfica is great at developing individuals but think the best move for him would be to play in the top 4 leagues at least.

Kamada himself said before the Bremen Game he will stay in Frankfurt and all these rumours are fake after Coach Glasner. They talked a lot the last days and Glasner want to hold him at any costs.

Even the hole Team was going to Daichi like Kevin Trapp, Mario Götze and so on and was talking to him "please stay, we need you".

Great Honor, and till now Kamada plays his best season ever. Very strong performance.

The german comentators were praising him as one of the best players again and said that a player like Kamada with these abilitys is very rare at the world ( exakt words).

Yeah, but at the same time he's got to renew. Will he really leave Frankfurt as a free agent?

I would have liked the option of Benfica, anyway.
