I share season tickets to the Bulls. It's always a fun time. Call it artificial noise or whatever, but at least I can scream my lungs out when I'm pumped
And so it begins http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/id/11805096/derrick-rose-chicago-bulls-tweaking-ankle
He's playing Tuesday and was pretty close to playing tonight. The Bulls and Rose will be way too cautious when it comes to him this season, so expect this to happen until everybody stops cringing every time he falls to the floor. Tweaked ankles happen, it's part of the game. Nobody is avoiding them.
Bulls will regret not paying him, even if it appears as an overpay. Jimmy was clearly bothered by that turf toe last year, I'm banking on a breakout year by him this season.
Well the day I watch the NBA with my dad and hype Griffin up so much, is the day he goes 3-15 in the first half. Again he gets taken away mid-air at the start of the game and no fouls from then on out. Atleast Hawes and Farmar are lighting it up, so I got that going for me.
Watching the Knicks vs Hornets game. Letsgooooooo Melo just reached 20,000 pts all time after making the Knicks third consecutive three in the game. Larkin and Shump look awake.
Well looks like Klay is shutting me up. Also if Miami makes the top three on the East, is Bosh a candidate for MVP?
Nah, 3rd in the East isn't going to be the most difficult thing. Same reason we didn't hear about Kyle Lowry being an MVP candidate last year. We only heard about Noah being a darkhorse, but he was never a favorite.
New York doing ok, the triangle working well then? Can't believe your winning with dalembert as your c!
Not banking on it lasting honestly. I haven't watched their last game, but either way the triangle is an outdated system as I said a few days ago. Don't think the Knicks make much noise this year.
I never said he'd win it, only that he'd be a candidate. Surely he'd be among the top ten if they have a 53-29 record and he averages 25 and 10. I think Curry is this years dark horse.
My guy is obviously Anthony Davis. Off to a great start(albeit very very small sample size), he just needs to win/loss record to support him.
I like our chances of making the playoffs as long as they keep playing superb defense. Triangle is outdated but it definitely still has a place in this league as long as you have the right players for it.
Didn't play a lot cuz of foul trouble. Was mainly there to provide D on Al Jefferson. STAT stepped up tonight and Aldrich was alright in D.
Davis is obviously the next superstar this league has to offer. But they ain't making the playoffs this year. Not in the West. San Antonio, Thunder, Clippers, Warriors, Portland, Houston, Dallas and Memphis are all better teams than the Pelicans. Then you have the Suns who are on the same level IMO talent wise, but have the better coach. On the other hand I think the Warriors will be the surprise coming out of the West this year. Obviously this premature talking, but it's something about that team. When they get hot, no one can stop them.
Problem with Golden State is they always seem to pick up injuries at the wrong time. I still think they were wrong for not picking up Kevin Love.
For the Warriors, getting to the playoffs with Bogut and Ezeli healthy is the key to banging with the elite frontcourts. Hoping Kerr can get something out of Kuzmic as the third center as well.
No doubt the Warriors have to be healthy. And I agree, I would've pulled the trigger on that Love deal, but the point is, even without Love they'll probably have the best offence in the league, along with a top 5 defence. That's contender material. Again I'm just presuming this, because I can't really speak after 3 games. I'll make my final opinion after atleast 20-25.
