Up 1-0, he tried to time waste by kicking the ball away. Got a yellow card. Then karma bit him in the ass as he botched a clearance at the death and hoffenheim score in the scramble following that. What a mental mistake... He didn't need to try to time waste. It wasted like 5 seconds for his 4th yellow card of the season. One more and he's banned for a game. SMH Could have given Dortmund a better chance of catching hoffenheim for 3rd too.
Assist for Osako, who heads a throw in to Hector. With this (Freiburg and Hertha losing atm) Köln is currently ranked 5th qualifying for EL.
Season stats: In squad for 33 (out of 37 possible) matches, started 28, subbed in 4 times, scored 8 goals, assisted 7, 4 yellow cards, played 2.482 minutes altogether. Good season I'd say. Looking forward to see him and Köln play international next season.
So... after quite some back and forth it now does looks like Anthony Modeste leaves to China. Incoming striker partners for Osako so far are Jhon Cordoba from Mainz and young Sehro Guirassy from Lille.
He picked an injury in a friendly against Bologna earlier this month. He returned to training last week, so I think he is not 100% match fit.

Another start for him: Mit dieser Elf geht es ins Auswärtsspiel gegen @Hannover96. Come on, #effzeh!________#H96KOE pic.twitter.com/pawROyfiAr— 1. FC Köln (@fckoeln) September 24, 2017 Let's hope he can score this time.
Another start, another game without scoring, another game with lost points. Maybe for Köln 1 points is seen as 3 at the moment.
Well, at least they ended their losing streak and collected their first point of the season (in an away match and against an in-form team).
