Which is pretty stupid to be honest. I've never been much of a Lebron fan, but if you can't give him credit for this series you aren't being remotely objective.
Cut the LBJ crap out this time for once, guys? You've been bagging on him at every turn, when he's had very little help offensively, and the better TEAM won. Basketball is a TEAM sport, not a Lebron sport.
LeBron is and has been the best player in the world for some time. Saying anything else is ludicrous.
Now onwards to the offseason, where my Lakers will construct teh epic team of Aldridge, Towns, Butler, Love, Kawhi, etc. to own everyone!
Planes crash, cars wreck, boats sink, mofos slip on freshly waxed floors or trip on the extension cord wiring their Christmas tree to the wall. I'm not even sure why people get into comparing champions from different seasons. Anything can happen over the course of a year. Anything.
Man, ******** that okc talk... We played them full strength and beat them one game in the regular season. KD got injured but by that time we had already taken the lead.
Btw good luck with all your teams. Yeah, the Dubs got lucky with missing some teams and certain players... but first seed has its rewards.
The Dubs won it fair and square. They were the best team in the playoffs and the regular season. And every championship is won with a bit of luck. Staying healthy for the most part isn't about luck, it's about correct conditioning and training. Kerr seems to know what he's doing. What I can't approve is Iggy being the MVP. Great Finals series, but MVP worthy? I would've picked Curry or Lebron (yes I know he was on the losing team, but his performances were out of this world).
I can dig Iggy being Finals MVP; he defended Lebron very well and put up respectable offensive numbers. Ciurry ran a bit too hot-and-cold for my liking.
Congrats to the Warriors I was partially wrong about them. They were the best team from start to finish and deserved it. I beleive this championship will be more of an aberration like the 04 Pistons then a start of a dynasty and I beleive they have a very low chance to win the title next year. But that discussion is for another day, good job Warriors as well as to there fans. Now everybody up here in NorCal will bandwagon the Warriors even more ugh lol Iggy as the finals MVP was very suprising sure he had 3 important big games but more valuable then Curry I doubt it, but it's nice to see a guy like Iggy go from successor and franchise face (in philly) to be considered overrated and overplayed in Denver to finding his niche and proper role in GS?
Happy for Iggy, glad he got a ring. F The Cleveland Lebrons. But Lebron was impressive regardless, golden state just shut down the supporting cast to win this series. Liked seeing Doug and Iggy talk. I know Doug made some terrible decisions as a GM in his last season, but it's very hard for me to hate him, like a lot of the "Hinkites" as I like to call them do. He at least got the Sixers into the playoffs and I enjoyed watching them, took a tough Celtics team to 7 games after getting really lucky against Bulls. Iggy got a lot of crap in Philly for not being a #1 option, I'm glad he found his niche he always did a good job on Lebron James.
They should be like MLB and give trophies in the locker room if the visitor wins it. ---------- Poor Cle. John Elway. Move to Baltimore. 2 wins away from a World Series title in 95, then inched closer in 1997 to being one out away, but still no dice. Marc Price in 92 brought them to the Conference Finals after the 89 debacle, but still no dice. They wouldn't inch closer again until 2007 where they were swept, Then 8 years passed until they finally won a Finals game, but it ends in 6. Can't think of any other city with teams in the Big 3 that has won jack since the 60s.
Won NBA championship as both a player and coach: Buddy Jeannette George Senesky Bill Russell Larry Costello Bill Sharman Tom Heinsohn Billy Cunningham Pat Riley KC Jones Phil Jackson Rick Carlisle Steve Kerr
