Ben Williams the horrible rugby-esque referee from Australia? Expect the Lebanese come out playing dirty with flying kicks and arms.
There are only two good refs in Asia. One is the Uzbek dude and the other one is the Japanese dude who reffed the last qualifier game for us.
Ravshan Irmatov is a good ref although his decisions at times can be questionable, plus he's one of the very few in AFC that rarely giveshands out cards nor calls fouls on certain situations. If anything I'd rate Yuichi Nishimura above the rest of the referees of AFC.
http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=277&article_id=0003011097 according to this article.. A two top with LDG and SHM looks likely Also it seems we have a few injuries (PJW, Hwang Ji Soo) so our only viable center mids in the 4-4-2 is KNI HKY LMJ. So this article suggests KNI is certain to start (I think so too) Nothing about the defense I guess it's --------- LDG ------ SHM LKH ---- KNI ------- LMJ ----- LCY *lol, 4 Lees
i would be ok with that lineup BUT i still believe KBK will be our most important player over these 3 matches
Lebanon have a new player we have yet to see. in Iranian fashion they recruited a player of Lebanese descent who was in the US system who plays striker. scored in that Oman friendly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soony_Saad
We did however have a total of 7 Kims on the pitch with only four in the starting lineup: Kim Yong-Dae, Kim Jin-Kyu, Kim Sang-Sik, and Kim Nam-Il, followed by the three substitutes: Kim Chi-Woo, Kim Jung-Woo, and Kim Du-Hyeon.
Training Camp Update. Chosun.com/kr Son Heung Min injured himself in training today, incurring a sprained ankle ligament. He is day to day and may miss the upcoming World Cup Qualifying Match against Lebanon. An MRI is scheduled later for today to examine the extent of the damage.
