Qualification must be our no.1 priority at this point. We must deploy formation, strategies and tactics that best suits for our strength and available resources. 4-4-2 (or 4-4-1-1) works best as proved by Huh Jung-moo 4 years ago. Once we complete our mission with 2 or more matches remaining in our qualification campaign, then we can talk about deploying and experimenting other options.
With LKH in Koo's position, KSW at top with PCY out on wing or playing shadow striker role should do the trick. Keep LDG on bench and bring him on if KSW isn't working but the emphasis has to be on the big guy who actually has potential for us down the line.
Haha looks like CKH (sort of) agrees with me on the 4-2-3-1 formation with LKH in KJC's spot. Maybe he reads these boards?
It's an estimate from the newspaper... Most likely, it'll be a conventional 4-4-2. There's no need to be fancy against the Uzis. Keep shape, attack with width and pummel them. This isn't Iran...
Its been a long time since we see the three former K-leaguers Djeparov, Geynrikh and Kapadze again. Only Kapadze played in that friendly in Jeonju where we won 4-2 (Choi Kang-Hee's first match in charge). The 3 Uzbekistan players will see their former teammates: (Incheon Utd) Kapadze -> Jung In-Hwan (Suwon Bluewings) Geynrikh -> Oh Beom-Suk and Jung Sung-Ryong (FC Seoul) Djeparov -> Ko Yo-Han and Ha Dae-Sung
I'd rather like to have him surgery if rehab takes about 6 weeks. He indeed needs to take some time off and recover.
We would love to translate. but if we do it, you'll ask for it everytime. So take the time to learn the language. You're at least half way there if you know how to speak it.
http://m.news.nate.com/view/20120906n02085 Koo won't be needing surgery. It still worries me if koo's bum knee is a at risk even after the rehab. Lets hope nothing serious because koo is now a must for our 2014 world cup team
the left one is the writers idea of our best XI with one striker. the right one is a theorized formation with LDG and PJY both on the pitch. Left: LDGPJY-LKH-LCYHDS-KSYPJH-LJS-KTH-OBSJSR Right:LDG---PJYLKH-HDS-KSY-LCYPJH-LJS-KTH-OBSJSR
I thought he hurt his ankle? I know this report says it was his knee ligament but wonder if that is correct?
Knee??? What are you talking about? Ankle. His knee was not discussed anywhere in the article that he cited.
Not to pile it on, but what the hell is "hakgual"??? Just as an aside, take an hour or two with a friend or relative to learn how to read rudimentary hangul. Even if you don't speak it, learning to read at least names and sign posts takes minimal time...
I kind of wish there was a friendly before this game for selfish reasons but I understand why there is not one...
In the article, the writer states: " ...아우크스부르크는 구자철이 지난 3일 샬케04전에서 무릎 인대 부상을 당했다고 전하며... " But like I said, I recalled that Koo hurt his ankle and not his knee. Both are not good injuries but a knee injury usually takes longer to recover from.
