there is no difference between assistant coach and associate head coach. They are both not the boss and hiring ADs could care less

I noticed Fresno State is hosting my hometown SDSU Aztecs. I also noticed Fresno State has lost all fixtures since their first, an OT win over EWU, IIRC. Anybody follow the Bulldogs? Does the AD not care? Is that seat even warm? What's happening in Fresno?

Um, yeah. Tim Santoro. The distinction you are making is ridiculous. 'Associate head coach' is just a title some (not all) schools use for their most senior assistant coach. It is an assistant coach, end of story.

edit - just glanced at two random ACC programs' websites, Syracuse and BC. Neither call their assistants 'associate head coach.' Wake Forest has not invented some kind of super-assistant position. It's just a title.
