FVCK OFF, I've been saying it been Andy all long. I said one time that he should open up his purse and somebody said maybe he has to ask his wife (so maybe I said once or twice).

Either way Andy or whoever is signing the FVCKIN checks, better start spending on players that are going help/play for us (like he said he would).

He did say a Keane type money player, not 3.

We are not Seattle/Galaxy or NYC.

We are not going to have 3 high paid DPs.

If Andy does go out there and keeps his word, we will get 1 high paid DP surrounded by regular MLS players, like the Blanco years.

Or we are going to get a few mid level DPs, in the 1 Million or less range (maybe 3 Rios types).

Or we will get nothing or more of the same.

Hey maybe some Rich Russian/Arabic oilman will come to the teams rescue.

I didn't say 3 high priced DP's. How about just one? Like he said what now three years ago. And it doesn't even have to be 4-5 million (which that would never happen) player, how about guys like DiVaio (1.9), Donovan (2.5) (before his raise). Hell even guys like Higuain (600,000), but that would take scouting, which we don't have. The way we scout players is by video, hell anybody could look good in videos (example Puppo, Robayo, Big Mess and our latest Anangono).

Oh, yeah I know it's HARD, to find those kind of players.......

Yes, I answered that. The way he plays, he would still be good at 36, 37, 38. He does not expend much energy and is still healthy.

According to the Google, he made 2.1 million euros in 2012. Doubt he would cost that much next year.

Yes, I answered that. Klose gets most service from the wings, so Nyarko (and Lindpere/Duka/Beasley/a better winger) would have a target for him.

Totally agree that the incredible midfields he has played with (the players you mention and Ballack, Frings, Hitzlperger, Lahm out of defense, etc.) have certainly helped his goal scoring.

You are right, he not that highly paid. See above.

McDonald was making Higuain type money, just not performing like Higuain.

Like I said, if they scouted Big Mess instead of watched a video on him, they wouldn't of signed. GET OFF YOUR FAT ASS AND GO SEE THEM IN PERSON, not on the video (anybody could look in a video).

PS. That would be to HARD to do and would cost money. Airfare, Hotel, Car etc.....It's easier just to watch a video, that the player probably made himself and hell of lot cheaper.

Correct so the little money they have to spend they wasted on busts, McDonald was neither the only one nor the most expensive one (Nary Castillo). The list is long.

So we are not only cheap we are also horrible at evaluating talent.

    Great combination to have.

I have been dreaming of Klose donning the Fire red for years. Maybe Fredrich can help us. But I have zero confidence in this organization to get something like this done.

I wonder which two teams made those excellent offers, NO way it was FIRE, because we don't make excellent offers (If it was a low ball offer, well then I could see FIRE doing that).

If the Fire makes a low ball offer (Actually it would be MLS making the offer / negotiation the contract with input from MLS teams) and the fire put a discovery option on Klose, then at least the FIRE would get some type of compensation if he signs with another MLS team.

Maybe if he goes to LA, the league could compensate is with Keane. They already gave us a gift in Magee, maybe that's the way if finally get the so called "Keane-money" players and it actually will be Keane.

Sure we must try to understand how things work in MLS (or guess on how they do).

Yes LA would have to trade one of their DPs (unless the league changes the rules).

The question would be what team puts a discovery tag on Klose first and what cities Klose is willing to go to.

So it's either New York or Los Angeles, because that's where all the BIG names want to play.

Are you also having issues with double postings and trying to edit after you post, or is it just me?

I am not sure if it is the site or my Internet connection.

I have zero confidence that Klose could unseat Rolfe from his guaranteed starter position.

Interesting. He also fills out their 30 man roster completely on the day when MLS rosters are frozen. He has been a defender, but it says that he can play anywhere on the left side. They have perhaps the best back four in the league already, so maybe they are beefing up the left side of midfield?
