Westside Cosmo shirts will be available soon.

Quote this message with sizes and I'll put you on the list!

I know who Westie is now.

I'm at the soccer fields now here in the suburbs, and all that I see are capitalists whom are mostly white and christian. The parking lots here are packed full of gas guzzling SUV's, and upper middle class people. I think that Michael Barry, I mean Westside Cosmo's talk radio fantasy has been shattered. I'm fairly certain North Houston is not a socialist stronghold.

Oh, yea. It better be very simple and traditional, yet extraordinarily intricate and avant guarde. Lots of designs depicting our long and majestic history, with a nod to the palm trees at Robertson and the industrial geometries of BBVA. It needs to include all the season ticket holders, maybe with an attached plaque for the second season ones. Hopefully it will be orange, blue, black and white, depending on the angle of light. And it definitely needs to be a light, synthetic recycled plastic mesh with cotton lining. As far as a collar or not, I'll leave that to Ponce.

I have to get one of those long sleeve jerseys. They looked clean.

Well... they look ok from the stands, but a disaster on TV. They would look better without the white on the sleeves... is it too late for a fix?*

*Sarcasm... but it would be nice if they did fix them.

I bump around BS every now and then. I get/know some of the jokes. What's the gag on the plaques? Did OL or CC say something about STH getting plaques or STH just wanting them for fun or what not? At the Toyota Center, there are not plaques, but bricks that lead up to the door with people's name or company on them.

after year one, if you renewed by XYZ date and were an original STH, the FO promised you name would go on a plaque at the Rob to be moved to the new digs when it was built. It went the way of black with our uniforms-it's still a part of the deal but will never happen.

Most of us don't really care about the plaque, but don't like to be snookered. I know I could care less about the plaque but if I wanted to be lied to I'd go down on West Bellfort and try and buy a used car.

It was a lame deal to start with. If you want to honor first year STHs, that's cool. But why only honor those who renewed for the second year by some arbitrary date? I renewed early that year, but not by the date they said since I was short money. It seemed silly to me regardless.

WC, you must live under a rock
Soccer was invented in England (most people agree on that) and spread around the World through colonialism (not exactly socialism)
In most leagues, soccer is 100 times more capitalist than NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL.
Most leagues don't have salary caps, profit sharing or a draft that rewards the worst team (socialist) instead, whatever team has the most money is the one that gets the best players.

WC, do some research before making a statement like that.

You realize that you are saying that engineering (mostly metric system) is socialist? (have no idea how that would make sense)

I saw SenorCool last night styling the long sleeve x-large authentic. Lemme tell you, it looked like a French medium. May have to buy-up a size (or two).

You missed the context entirely. What is the most popular sport in socialist left-leaning countries? If you look at MLS and soccer fans in general, are they mostly Republican or Democrat? Nothing to do with engineering designs or salary caps.

Using your logic drinking water is a Socialist thing. Not to mention, what nations do you consider Socialist? Cuba? Baseball is their sport. Venezuela? Baseball is their sport.

    Baseball = THE SOCIALIST PAST-TIME!

The long-sleeved jerseys looked good to me, for some reason the white sleeve stripes aren't that obtrusive on that one. The short-sleeve ones looked cruddy - especially on Bruin.

It's extremely rare to see a communist/socialist country in the World Cup,
China (only in 2002), North Korea (only 1966 and 2010), Vietnam (never), Cuba (only 1938) or Venezuela(never)
    And yes, Baseball = Socialism
Hockey is also pretty big in socialist Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

How do you know the political leaning of MLS fans?
Did you do a survey or are you just guessing?
