I specifically asked about her on twitter, they said they are in talks with multiple players, not to worry about it. Not sure what that means but hey maybe there is something there.
Would you be hoping for Mewis or Nairn? Or a forward? There aren't too many quality strikers in this draft. Might be better to explore the FA market for that.
Don't forget LePeilbet won the Defender Of The Year award twice in WPS playing at CB. That's where she shines. It's unfortunate that she's been shoehorned into RB/LB on the national team but to her credit she's improved greatly there this past year. If she's allowed to return to CB with Chicago then expect big things.
Some one pointed out that Fowlkes is from KC so she will probably sign with them if she wants to stay close to home. So the RS could use someone like Bock.

Boxx & Winters play the same position. I mean, theoretically you could do a pulley system thing and play both as box to box mids. But that's not ideal. That and age of the two biggest names are my two biggest concerns for the Red Stars' allocation.
Agree. The two biggest names IMO, is Boxx and Dominguez. Both well into their 30s. And just signing Ella Masar is not going to cut it. Free Agency will be a BIG deal for the Red Stars.

AWESOME! That's what I'm talkin about! Her home is close to Milwaukee, 90 miles away. Now get Brittany Bock in, draft Mewis and we have a team!
I understand that and the opportunity to play with Abby Wambach, as she would obviously get more exposure, but the enticement to play soccer in her home city may also be strong.

Dundalk24! It looks like you'll get your wish! Now, who do you pick Mewis of Nairn? Also: I don't think Bock will go back to the Flasher's, most of her friends are in Chicago and I'm not sure she was happy in WNY! It must be the shoes! http://equalizersoccer.com/2013/01/16/nwsl-college-draft-order-set-for-friday/#comment-6029 The draft order is as follows: 1. Chicago Red Stars 2. Washington Spirit 3. FC Kansas City 4. Sky Blue FC 5. Boston Breakers 6. Western New York Flash 7. Seattle Reign FC 8. Portland Thorns FC
All I can say is the redstars definately deserved the #1 pick in the draft after getting the shaft in the allocations.
