Giovanna hernandez was one of the few cantaneros that impressed me last season for Guad. I'd take him in a heart beat. I'm not completely sold on Reynoso besides I hear he wants to go to Morelia if he's traded. To me Sinha would be the ultimate signing. He would do for us what Barros Schelotto did for Columbus.

Ever Guzman is a natural Second Striker. Teams from mexico expected him to score instead of create chances, which in my opinion hindered his confidence, but he has seemed to regain that confidence he has as a teenager. I would definitely like to see him in a stress free league like the MLS. Look what it did for Cubo Torres.

Entonces? Talk to the people in power. Seriously Ever's potential and skill is close to Chicha, Giovani dos santos, Carlos Vela etc. he just never got that chance. i've been throwing his name around these forums for a couple years. imagine him and Cubo? dang it. Talk to them before he gets too good for Tigres.

He is playing for Morelia again. He will have a season to prove himself for them, if he cant break into the first team, I could see him giving the MLS a shot. Another player that was pushed aside to early is Antonio Pedroza!

I think he is done, The guy looks like he might be damaged goods. Salgado has 1 goal in 21 appearances in 3 years and people sometimes overate him. Maybe changing venues would be good for him but Chivas USA might be the last team he would like to play for.

if ever guzman never played on that u17 world cup winning team, he'd be jose manuel rivera. only a bit more unproven.

assuming he heals up, a 6'4 target man to head in all of rosales' crosses and to pair with cubo? yes please.
but yeah, his injury is a concern. i read that those with 5th metatarsal fractures (pinky toe breaks) tend to heal SLOWLY. and those that break that bone again (something that happened to salgado) tend to have that issue the rest of their career.

did u guys hear that cruz azul are hiring Rafael baca from SJ, Michael Farfan from Philly, and Villareal from Galaxy. I would have taken all these guys for chivas in a heart beat. In fact i've mentioned Farfan and Baca on more than a few ocassions. Man Vergara couldve done that for us

I don't get why that's better than playing in MLS.

Oh they're going to Cruz azul hidalgo? That sucks because although they're not pavone or Chaco good they are good enough for the first team

Maybe $. I'm not really a big LigaMex fan but they do play a more attractive soccer then MLS. I watched the MLS Cup final, looked more like a rugby match.

I love la liga mx and hope one day the two leagues will combine. Anyway, our roster is paper thin. Currently we are only listing 17 players. That leads me to believe we will be making a move for 5 players. Problem is 2 of the players I wanted are going to Cruz azul.

I guess it's a case of different tastes, any time I've watched LigaMX there's way too much diving. Seriously, there are dudes throwing themselves on the ground all over the place. It bugs me.

They will start out at Cruz Azul Hidalgo, Cruz Azul is going to clean house after this season. They have to many old players, the fact that Luis Alfredo Tena personally asked for these players is great. I am sure baca will get action with the first team from the get go, the other two will be in future plans.

This will allow Chivas USA to trade Dan Kennedy for some players!

This actually sucks. Big Dan has been our best player for a while now. He should be one of the core were building upon not a bargaining tool.

I don't think Chivas USA would trade Kennedy. If Michel is coming to Chivas USA he will have to fight for his spot or just wait out his 6 months until the transfer window opens in Mexico. DK signed a new contract just this past season i believe. Really he should just train with the reserves in Mexico until he gets picked up. Our 2nd string GK might be better than him.

hmm. if you're able to pick up a guy like Michel you gotta at least flirt with the idea of seeing what you can get for DK. Our club currently has a lot of holes to fill and we need to get past the "can't trade the fan favorite" mentality. I'm all for trading DK if: 1. we have a quality GK to fill in, 2. DK can get us better on the field.

i can totally see the backlash, though, if Michel replaces DK. the race card will once again pop its ugly head.
