Cowherd has a weird show since he doesn't have a co host its almost like he tries to debate himself. The two guys to listen to about basketball at least as far as espn radio is concerned is SVP & Russillo. They kind of fall off the company narrative. They sometimes coast during football segments (which ESPN relentlessly drives) but those guys really know their basketball.
Alot depends on matchups, bulls memphis for example rank lower then clippers right now... but for example for the heat clippers are cakewalk...memphis and bulls are not. Heat suffer more vs memphis then okc or clippers.
I don't think I've ever heard their show - when is it? Yeah - Cowherd's show has grown on me - his voice used to be unbearable for me to listen to, but his show is fairly intelligent/often makes me think. Conversely, I used to like Mike & Mike in the morning because it was easy to listen to, but their buffoon act wears thin quick. I could definitely do without the rest of the options -- Stephen A, Mike Lupica, Michael K and the nasally dude who comes on in the evening whose name escapes me. In other words, Cowherd is one of the few I can stand to listen to for more than 5 minutes.
SVP and Russillo are on after Cowherd where I'm at. Usually it goes Mike and Mike, Cowherd, then SVP and Russillo. I agree with Mike and Mike though. I can't listen to them anymore. Oh well it clears the way for NPR in the morning haha.
They will. Indiana plays OKC next so let's say that's a loss. Miami would need to lose 2 of their remaining 3 games against Atlanta, Washington, Philadelphia. Won't happen.
Thank you New York for beating Toronto!! Bulls now in the drivers seat for the 3 seed and I think they beat Indiana in round 2. Knicks playoffs hope still highly unlikely. Atlanta need to lose their remaining games: vs. Miami, vs. Charlotte, @ Milwaukee, while New York has to win out: vs. Chicago, @ Brooklyn, vs. Toronto. Don't see it happening.
Yeah, let's see if they drop one against the Wizards and Bucks. Wizards maybe, but I still think they have to be favorites. Knicks officially eliminated out of playoff contention, did Henchag change his prediction in time for that one?
Good to see the Bulls lose, now they're back in the Indiana round 2 bracket, although round 1 got that much tougher. Here's hoping the Wizards win out and Brooklyn drop their last 2.
Pacers need to win one more game (lol) to clinch the #1 seed in the East. Heat really dropped the ball here. How you beat the Pacers only to fall to half game back less than two nights later.
I got feeling this heat team is similar to boston team in 2010. I think that was season boston finished with a record of 50 - 32.. were on old legs...yet went to nba finals game 7 vs lakers. I hope am right, cause really the heat playing very poor.with this form they wont make it past round 2
I am hoping we dont face wizards in sf. I rather brooklyn. Lebron owned their sorry ass for good enough, whereas brooklyn its about breaking the tie between pierce and lebron ( 2 - 2 in playoff series now ) . At least one of brooklyn or chicago should move to the heat side.
No, I want us to have a run at Indiana. I already know we're going to lose to Miami, don't know about Indiana.
Since 2001, only spurs in 2003 boston 2008 and heat 2013 finished with best record in nba and won the title. Spurs will be the fourth this year i think.
