Opening night numbers were depressed due to the thunderstorms that rolled in right before game time, but the Hammers still managed 3000+.

I went to your game saturday and came away thoroughly impressed. You have your own cool thing going on in Wilmington that I don't think exists in too many places yet. I blogged my experience, if you feel so inclined let me know what you think. I hope to make it back soon.

Nice write-up. Next time feel free to spend BOTH halves on the PCF side.

Actually, next time Ill come without the First Lady in tow and maybe I can tailgate with the PCF? (not that you wouldn't have her, but she's not as big on "adventurous drinking" as I am!)

Good weather, College night and a lot of families. 4457 was the number I got from the press box on the way out, so it might change.

2482 for the 5/2 game against Antigua. Midweek School-night game with no real promotions to bring people out.

I just gotta say, I love the PCF. You guys do it right.
There's only one game I can make this season, but I intend to enjoy the hell out of it (the last game in June). I'm trying to recruit some RaliHawk fans to come see for themselves. See you then.

Come on down! I still owe you a beer from last year, so introduce yourself and collect. I'm still hoping to make a Railhawks game later this year and by the end of this year if things work in a certain way, I'll be living closer to the Railhawks than Hammers.

I normally go up to the press box after every game to check attendance, but didn't make it up there after the crushing by CalFC. From what I could tell, attendance was very light-- I'm guessing about 1000, maybe a little more as people seemed to be still wandering in through the first half.

4792- A nice night, close game and good result. The Hammerheads are supposed to e-mail me the attendance numbers on the US Open Cup game against Cal FC, and I'll post them when I get them.

Attendance for June 15 was 3371. Can't think of any reason for the drop-off, except maybe graduation ceremonies or other school-end activities. Regardless, this brings the average below 4000.

Another big night on the Cape Fear. And I'm guessing the fireworks show after the game probably didn't hurt attendance.

Just barely behind last year's average, which was a franchise record. Well done.

A bit of a discrepancy this week as Charleston reports a crowd of 4657 at Legion while the Hammerheads claim 5377. No matter--it was an above average crowd that saw the win. I'm going with the Hammers number because...

    1) It's the official number and
    2) I think it's legit. The VIP tent was packed, the west side stands were crowded and I don't remember seeing so many kids on the field before a game..had to be at least 300.

...and thanks to the Regiment for coming up for the game. You guys were doing good work over there.
