That's just the first half, right? I'll say Higuain doubles them up in the second stanza. Second verse, same as the first.
This is a sad day. I can't believe that I'm not incredibly anxious to go to a Union game (Wednesday) I see this as a 2-0 loss. I'm quite afraid that we are in for a Nowakian (4 total shots) game. Losing Marfan is really gonna hurt!
2-0 sounds about right to me. How about 1 goal of a free kick. don't forget the ever present how many yellows? I say no less than 5 for the Union.
ketchup and mustard everywhere. Looking forward to a foul-fest no matter the outcome. Union have no better options at this point other than distractions anyway.
I'll take the 'under' on yellow cards for the Union. But what should be the over/under percentage for backward passes for Lahoud? 98%??
Can't tell if being facetious, or is living under a rock. Rumor has it Mike will miss Wednesday's game due to yellow card accumulation. Official league sources don't really seem to jive with this though.
The disciplinary report page is the one source that seems out of it. The preview for last game mentioned that he would be suspended on next yellow. And the MLS stats page shows him as having 5 yellows, so that would also support the accumulation point.
Dills, your line-up looks like you want to have an offense and potentially score. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! THIS IS NOT HOW WE DO THINGS AROUND HERE. I know Carroll and Gomez doesn't work out together but can we have Gomez in there somewhere. He is more effective starting than off the bench. Maybe it takes him time to get warmed up to the game.
Woah, let's not get carried away. Cruz would miss a sitter or two and Martinez would run the ball into the box only to be stripped clean by the opposing goalkeeper. But hey, Cruz works really hard and Martinez is full of potential, so that's a moral victory for us, right?
All I see on the disciplinary report in Sheannon out with a Red. Gabe is listed for being close to max yellows, but no sign of Mike on the list.
From the MLS disciplinary page: His fourth yellow was 7/29 against New England. He played in the following 3 games, Montreal, Chicago, DC. His good play incentive was given to him prior to RSL. Even though they did not update the page since prior to the weekend, his incentive was already awarded to him, and he was no longer on warning. 1 more yellow though he is suspended.
