I half paid attention to the Mex v Gabon match as I waited for NBC to finally get around to the Kor v Swiss replay, and Gabon has a couple of quick guys on the offensive side. Not sure how they compare to the Mex and Swiss sides Korea has handled so far, but something to keep in mind? Gabon had their chances late to earn a draw before giving up a PK to put points out of reach.

    DANG.
only koreans can understand that dead silence when a hyung-neem is lecturing everyone.
if he keeps this up, he could be a fantastic 감독 for our NT

I don't want to get too ahead of ourselves but let's say we win this match and finish first...real good chance we play Uruguay again?

we should worry more about avoiding brazil in the semi final than uruguay in the quarterfinal.

we should just focus on winning the group and let the cards fall in the other one. none of those teams in group A have a midfield as good as ours anyway.

I actually would like us to face Uruguay. Payback for 2010 WC.

This was the match after the Saudi match where we drew at the very end thanks to Kim Bo-Kyung's mad volley.

He says "how can the defence conceed every time we give away a chance? We conceed then we have to fight back for 20-30 mins remaining! how are we going to win like that?!
I dont know how good you guys are at football but you're attitude is dog-table (mess).
You guys lose to Saudis and then really learn from it?! Are you guys liars? ssekki-deul ah!
...Those who dont want to play against Oman tell us now, so we can leave them out."

    At the end he says...

"If you feel you have no confidence or have some other problem then speak up and we'll leave you here."

    Something along those lines...

Agreed.Assuming Brasil will top their group, whoever tops Group B will avoid them till the finals. And chances are good that Mexico will beat depleted and demoralized Swiss. Ergo, if we want to avoid Brasil in the semis and thus greatly enhance our chance of medaling, we need to beat Gabon and beat them by a wide margin.

Didn't notice while watching the match live at 15 fps but on glorious HD the Silverback didn't inspire confidence. A few times I thought he was slow to come out and claim the ball.

Re: HMB's video - Man, I like that a lot. Right at the end. "If you're lacking confidence, or if you don't want to play, if you think there are too many problems, so you don't want to play, say so plainly. So that we can leave you behind." Daaaaaaaamn.
