    Let the complaining begin.....

Nice to see that Franklin got his payday. Of course, now he needs to actually earn it...

And Barrett, as we all know, is overpaid for what he delivers...

So David Beckham turned down the offer from Paris and took a paycut to stay at LA.
    That's really showing his commitment.

In a sane world, Todd Dunivant would be making more than Sean Franklin.

How much of an increase was dictated by the Cup victory last year? I could be dead wrong, but I am under the impression that the collective bargaining agreement has some deal for automatic salary increases for players on teams that do well in playoffs.

    My assesment:

Franklin - Overpaid. (Starting to wonder if we really could upgrade from him...ASAP)

Buddle - Wow. (His salary now looks like it should come with incentives. we're not getting 09' buddle anymore)

Barrett - Time to go. Donkey really has been here too long, move him back to TFC before he hurts himself and useless forever.)

In the what the hell catergory

Why is our backup keeper (Perk) making more than our starting keeper (Saunders) because one has hoisted an MLS cup, and the other is career backup.

In the it pays to be white and american and playing in MLS.....

McBean and Stephens. I would seriously give both of these guys $50,000 for every goal or assist they make all year.... and it wouldn't total their combined $190,000+ salary this year. I just don't believe either will have a stellar career in MLS, and that makes me wonder who the f*ck their agent is because he must be the Mark Zuckerberg of shysters.

    Agreed.....

For 225k we should be getting much better production then what Buddle is giving us.

I am begining to think that Stephens is a problem. I do not see any development.

McBean is on the U-20 nats. Much to soon to give up on him. What is he, 17 or 18? That makes him just a few years older than TJ.

He's on the U-18s. Had the secondary assist on their goal yesterday in a friendly over in Europe.

Yeah, way way too early on him...

David Beckham took a $2.5 million drop in his basic salary (now $3 mill) to stay with L.A. Galaxy this year.

    Kudos to David.

Wow, Europe gave Buddle a real reality check, when he left he was demanding DP money and now he settles for that? I guess his other option was no team at all.

Barrett's salary physically hurts me. As does Cristman's.

Meanwhile, maybe it would help if we paid Juninho more than we did Adam Cristman.

Juninho is the really shocking one for me. Less than Jordan and Nakazawa. Each, not combined.

Don't forget Juninho is on loan, so we might only be paying a portion of his salary, with Sao Paolo covering the rest. I believe Leonardo got the same until we signed him permanently, at which point it more than doubled....

Ditto. My jaw fell open. Hopefully TrickHog is right about the supplemental funds from somewhere else, or otherwise, that's a travesty on our roster.

Yup! Given the way he's playing he is sure overpaid.

Could be related to the amount he's paid. I'd be upset if I earned less than Adam Cristman too.

All I gotta say is, good for these guys to find a way to get paid for something they love to do. Good for them.

Is it possible Sao Paolo are subsidizing Juninho's wages. A lot of clubs do it.

Surprised that Saunders didn't leap over Perk yet in salary.
