The article seems to be talking about last summer, since it mentions the Confederations Cup.
It was last updated this May, it seems.

But is seems more likely that he will join HSV as seems Villa &
That's what I thought but it mentions he only played a few minutes in Brazil so it's been updated

Sounds like Kiyo is more likely to go to HSV as well as no reports of Villa and FCN making progress on agreeing a fee though

He played just once in Brazil, against the hosts as Japan went out in the group stages.

It's the confederation. You've gotta slow down with those reports and wait, my friend...

But he should be with them at this point, right? Nagatomo joined Inter yesterday.

I guess the supposed "eye meeting" with Kiyo was pretty... frank lol. Let's see what happens

It's just a sign that they don't plan with him anymore (and that there are enough club interested in him for him to not need more advertising appearances) while the only thing stopping his departure atm is the business side.

Kiyo didn't play on Saturday V Valencia neither although he was on the bench supposedly..

Bild speculating he's definitely off too cos he's not injured apparently

Well, they let go the interpreter already after all. :D FCN needs the money, Kiyotake is likely one of the biggest earners there by now.

To think where FCN was only half a year ago, such a huge drop in quality and ambition. Instant unfollow. :(

Nikkan sports? If you can give me a link, I may look into it. I just meant that Kiyo probably simply frankly asked to be put on the transfer list, btw.

I'm too disappointed by this year's (I mean the upcoming season) Nuremberg project. The coach, the players signed... it doesn't seem like they are exactly in a hurry to come back to 1st division. But who knows, maybe they'll prove me wrong.

Someone sent me a link to FCN's game on Saturday V Valencia & said he didn't think Kiyo would play..he was on the subs bench although TBH I didn't spot him... anyhow didn't get on the pitch

BUT I have to say even without Kiyo - FCN played really well..their new young coach has assembled a really attacking young team and they looked quite strong against the La Liga side even if it was only a pre-season friendly
    Good game to watch.

I'll see if I can dig out that article from Nikkan sports

Away from Kiyo transfer talk... here is a really nice film about all 3 of Cerezo Osaka's recent famous No 8s making the plane to Brazil this Summer in the WC...(even if Zak hardly utilised them properly - rolls eyes skywards)

It's in Japanese but you get the gist and some of the footage on the 3 players including Kiyo's development from early days is really good

Kinda semi-official, as Hannover's president Martin Kind confirmed: Kiyo will sign for them.

It's not really a big name team but he's staying in BL. Hannover's attacking midfield is going to look good with him, needed at least that to make up for the loss of Huszti.
If the transfer is concluded at the rumored 4,3m€, it's a huge investment.

Not a big team ? Maybe not as big then Bayern and Dortmund but the last 3 years before last season Hannover was a power house...every year on place 5-7...going far into the Euro League, beaten Bayern etc....are one team which scored very much goals. A shame that they fired Slomka but Hannover is a good team and I think, this year they gonna kick ass

Kiyotake at West Ham would be interesting if Big Sam isn't the manager.

There's already a photo of him arriving at Hannover airport in Bild. Pretty much done.
