teioh, he's there because Zenga wanted him. Not because some rich club wanted his exotic Serie A player. If Zenga was the trainer of Guanzhou Evergrande, you can bet he would be on loan there now, and this works for any club.

A goal, an assist, or 2? Either way, good job on his first game. Way to impress.

Just a curiosity, Sven Goran Eriksson has signed as new sport director for Al Nasr.

Al Nasr won against Al Wasl. The score is 1-0 and, sadly, Morimoto failed to score.

apparently they will join Group C:
    Qatar Cup winners Al Gharafa
    Iranian league champions Sepahan
Saudi league runners up Al Ahli.
First group match is February 27 at Sepahan.

I think he's serious, it can't be the telephone pole aka Maeda.

I personally want him to be called up rather than Havenaar, he have technical skills that can help with team play, even if he doesn't have the height.

C'mon, man. 182cm is a pretty good height for a striker.

Morimoto is not exactly technical, he's instinctive.

    yes, but Mike is 194cm.

okay, you may be right, but he is more involved in play, so that's what I meant.

either way, I prefer him instead of Mike Havenaar.

    Taka > Mike > Maeda > Lee

However the choice depends on our opponents too.
Imo against Brazil we need Taka, against Italy Mike against Mexico dunno. Maybe Honda? OT...

You cant leave Havenaar out, hes one of the only forwards that scores goals, and he plays in Europe for a good team, oh and hes a giant. Morimoto is just the flavor of the week, I hope he keeps it up, but if I was going to trust a striker outside of Europe it would go in the order of Maeda, Sato(Hiroshima), and then Morimoto.

However, I do agree with the person who said 'bye bye Lee'....sadly Lee crashed and burned in Europe which has derailed his career slightly. But leaving Mike off he squad, even suggesting it, is plain foolish. And im sure that thought has never crossed Zacs mind.

Scored today in ACL, but Al Nasr lost 2-1 at home against Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia.
