Not that I want to shatter dreams but it's possible that this decision has to be taken before the league ends. So he has to think about the possibility of playing in 2.Bundesliga or just get another team. Hoffenheim is a team with pretty good resources though, I don't think they would have much trouble getting back.

Even with their resources I am not sure if they want to pay a transfer fee of 2.7 mio Euros for a player who they didn't use too much.

Having a new coach can only be a positive for Usami, he was hardly being used in the past month even though he showed early on in the season he was one of the few players who could make a positive impact.

Usami recently said he'd prefer to stay in Germany, with his German improving this season. IMO a move back to Japan might not be too bad, he looks worn out and seems to be trying too hard whenever he plays. He needs to get back to basics.

You would be worn out if you were playing for Hoffenheim with a coach that didn't look like he knew was he was doing. I don't think you can take too much from it.

Not even on the bench against Fortuna... good thing that his move to hoffenheim was a loan move

Hoffenheim won 3-0. That was huge, Fortuna is a direct opponent to avoid relegation.
    And Usami isn't there.

Pretty sure we won't see him on too many occasions wearing that jersey.

yep. Which is for the best for everyone, I think. Makes sense even for Hoffenheim too, sc-f pointed the numbers... his agent confirmed that he will play in another Bundesliga club today.

Maybe he would best for him to start over with a great club, but in 2. Bundesliga, like Inui did when he came to Germany. Koln could be a solution.

According to his agent, he is going to a bigger club than Hoffenheim... guess he'll have to fight for his spot. I'm okay with that though, Bayern was a whole other story, as that's one of the biggest club in the world, but if he wants to prove he's a very special player, he has to "make the jump" in a good club anyway. (and he is still very young)
Of course I hope for him that his ambitions don't result in a warm bench =p

Who is his agent? Harry Potter? I mean, Usami has some skills, but his season wasn't impressive at all. We can add all reasons we want, but i'm not understanding which "bigger club than Hoffenheim" in Germany could want Usami right now.
