You are 100% correct Skipper, those two statements side by side are inconsistent. With that said, following many conversations with players and others present, I believe every statement in waving's post to be 100% credible. You and I (and other posters) can research game reports and with our knowledge of the league have some idea where referees have a tendency to work. A new fan like waving having watched only a handful of games in her life.......NO CHANCE of having any idea who would be working Chile's game that Friday night nor would she care like we do .
