Too many "Fins" on this team.... I's konfused. But I'm willing, as it's the preseason, to see if Tchani has learned anything in the off season. With his size, it would be nice to have him able to play the middle.
I just try to remember that Finley has an e because he is new. Finlay has an a because he'll never play.
I trust nothing until its on the website, but I hope that this is true, our midfield would be so strong
I understand and agree, but this guy has announced signings out of South America for a lot of teams around the league before it's been on the website. He doesn't seem to be wrong so until he is I'm going to trust what he says.
I had retweeted it, and it is gone from mine too. My guess is that once the original is deleted, it deletes all copies as well. I would speculate that the team probably wants to make their own announcement. At least that is my overly optimistic view of it...
No more "Dir-ty San-chez" chants. OK, maybe one more time in September, but that's it. Seriously, this would strengthen the center of the park. Andy + a healthy Marshall partnering Glauber/Williams/Wahl with Sanchez in front of them and Higuain behind Arrieta up top. I'm a big believer in the "Spine of the team" theory. And Andy > Chad > Sanchez > Higuain > Arrieta is a strong spine. Wings still need some work, but first things first.
Me too. But RB, LB, and LW could all use some improvement. 3 of 4 spots are either unproven unclaimed (LB), unproven (Williams at RB), or both (LW). Down the spine, the only real spot unproven (if Sanchez signs) would be Chad's CB partner or the 2nd CM. Andy, Chad, Sanchez, Higuain, Arrieta. 5/7 are in all-star level hands. 4 of which have proven in before. Much better ratio. Plus, between Glauber, Wahl, O'Rourke, and Williams, I think CB will be OK. Tchani as the AM worries me, however.
