Line-up predictions? This could be Gotoku's debut for the NT.

In september it will be WC qualification vs Iraq, probably no time for experiments. Hara said to call youngsters after achieved the qualification.

    Kawashima
    Komano Konno Yoshida Nagatomo
    Hasebe Endo
    Okazaki Honda Kagawa
    Maeda

    later on I prdedict

    - Sakai instead of Komano
    - Kiyotake for Okazaki or Kagawa
    - Hosogai for Endo

i say it again lol he could have called sato.. at this moment he's far more dangerous in front of the goal then maeda.. it is just a friendly so it would't be harmful to the team to try out a "new" striker

Konno isn't there either (someone mentioned Kiyotake).

I have the same lineup as you, except Inoha will start with Yoshida. And if Yoshida is deemed too fatigued from Olympics, then Iwamasa will start in his place.

It's not about that, it's about Zac wanting to use the next two friendlies to find a suitable person to play CB in his place for the crucial Iraq game. Same reason why Ucchi & Kurihara (who was good against Australia) aren't there.

I know, I think that maybe Konno's place in JNT isn't that sure as well or at least I don't think it should be.

Japan needs to find at least 3 constant reliable central defenders and atm it looks like it has only one and that is Yoshida

Suzuki can be in the squad. Not in the starting eleven, but in the squad.

tulio should be called up.. he s an excellent enforcer a guy who frightens opposite strikers which can be important from a psychological side of view.. i know he's slow but that shouldn't be a problem because he has a good positional play

We will need Tulio in WC2014, that's for sure. I hope Zac will call him in the 22-23 that will fly to Brasil.

about Tulio, I hope he's called up sometime and play for JNT. dunno why Zac won't.

Tulio is a great CB, plus he looks like a lion that will maul anyone who gets close. AND He will scare opposing GK with his record of goals...FOR A CENTER BACK!!!

If Zac wants to win, which he stated that Venezuela are a team to beat then he will most likely not sub out Endo. Fun game tomorrow. So many internationals.

Endo will get close to Ihara's caps-record.
What a pity, i won't be able to watch the match tomorrow.
