Winning could be a huge thing. 9 points in 3 matches could be a psychological advantage for us. Plus, they would represent the 50% of qualification to WC2014.

Hopefully the pitch doesn't have a huge outcome on the game, also it's been raining all day in Brisbane. Can't wait for this game.

But to be fair, I think Australia is going to put up a good fight.

Takahashi will be soon Kawashima's replacement and I predict that when the 2014 WC comes around he'll sit on top of the formation as a lone striker.

Japan will just need to be extra careful on set pieces and Hasebe/Nagatomo/Uchida need to be alert and track back to assist whoever ends up playing CB. The only advantage for Australia is their size.

Seems 2 of our first choice CB, Konno and Yoshida, is out due to cold and injury. I wonder how Inoha-Kurihara pair will do against the Socceroos... Yoshida have height and Konno have the experience, it will be missed. I hope the two CB will be well covered by either the DMF or the Fullbacks when things get hectic.

btw, when is the game start? I'm looking for U.S. Central Time.... What time will it start Japan time? since the two home games starts at 7:30 pm Japan Time, it's 5:30 here.

I think the game will start at 7:00 Japan Time. Does anybody here knows about Iwamasa? Man, he's a tank and he could be usefull in games like that.
