Whomever goes on the road with Pun better have a toilet on board or not care about making good time. The boy has the blatter of a 10 year old girl.
Hey now, I forgot there was no bathroom on the bus when I decided to drink all those hard ciders. Didn't you take a WIZ as well? Yep, just expanded there this year and talking about anywhere withing 500 miles of DFW metroplex(we sort of are).
I know all the play-off scenarios seem really complicated but never fear. Monday I'll break down all of the scenarios in a very simple, easy to understand way.
I'm no longer renewing my season tickets. The performance of my so called friends on my experience on the Colorado trip has ruined it. Until MLS hires better fans, I won't be back.
Wait, who's getting paid to be a fan? That's it I'm no longer renewing my season tickets until MLS pays all their fans to attend games.
So it looks like we might be less than 10 minutes from winning the East. As Walt Bodine might say, how bout that?
No we're not. We still need a win to guarantee the East, because if we lose or draw Columbus can jump over us.
There is a easy way to nullify all these various scenarios for Saturday. It's simple, we kill the Batman......wait, no, uh we just win baby.
Well, with New York clinching, Chicago won't be playing for the post season. I suppose this could either be good or bad... Still, Columbus isn't great playing away, and Chicago's only lost three times at home. Hope that game is a draw. Houston gets an LA who will probably best resting and rotating, especially after playing in the CCL tonight. Houston playing at home you've got to think they have a chance to win that one. So we need at least a draw from DC, which should be a very winnable one for us.
If we would have held off even that last goal at Vancouver, we would have clinched first place tonight. If we would have gotten that PK and won the home opener, we would have clinched first place tonight. If we wouldn't have given up the silly early goals and have to fight our way back to tie at home against Rapids, Chivas and New England, we would have clinched first place tonight. If we would have kept our heads straight at home on the big stage against Philly, we would have clinched first place tonight. If we would have caused stupid fouls and getting a player sent off against Seattle and Dallas, we would have clinched first place tonight. Too many what if's this season and easy chances lost. I hope we can stay stable and not cause mistakes, easy fouls, all that jazz.
Cbus and SKC pretty much in the same boat - both away to hated rivals who have been eliminated. Usually in my observation, rather than the eliminated team being deflated, they have something to prove. Nobody wants to go out with a whimper.
