If there's one thing we need it's a proven goal-scorer, and I prefer a local player over an import. Even as a 31 year old, he should be capable of 10+ goals next season, but I'm not sure how I feel about going after another team's 10-year player though.

Any reason why......besides the fact that he isn't very good? Effective immediately right?

Yes immediately. I caught a post on twitter stating that he had some problems but no real detail, we'll see.

That's pretty strange. He had a contract till 1.1.2012, extended in July. Few days ago reports said that he's getting back to fitness after injury which ruled him out of the squad for the game against Omiya.

    http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/soccer/headlines/20111101-00000096-jij-spo.html

It's written that he came with the proposition to cancel the contract as his knee still isn't completely recoverd. And few days ago he was running around the pitch during training. Hmm...

Kobe looking to get Tashiro (Daily.jp)
Interesting, he will be one of the biggest free agents of the market. 12 goals in only 22 appearance, he could be a great goalscorer for a team willing to use him from the start every week.

If Consadole went up to J1, he would be a perfect signing for them:eek: Seems coach Ishizaki prefers using a target striker and a shadow striker together, and everyone knows that Diogo will NOT be a success in J1. He's horrible even in J2... Tashiro as the target striker with maybe Uchimura behind him and either Kondo/Okamoto/Sunakawa/Furuta on the 2 wings might not would have been too bad.

Either way if they go up, they are surely to bring in some new players. As someone said in another thread, they cant survive with their current team, but there is not really that many teams that dont improves their team after being promoted, and Im sure there are players that would be interested in going to Sapporo if they made it. Could probably offer better deals than both Sagan and Tokushima atleast.

Tashiro would probably like to stay in Kashima. That's realy peculiar case. Just comparing numbers: Koroki - 1994 minutes, 3 goals; Tashiro - 1502 minutes, 12 goals (last season in Montedio scored 10) so far this season. Unfortunately Oliveira doesn't value him as high as Koroki (they're absolutely different kind of strikers of course) which is probably dictated by the team's tactics and it's the player himself who wants to leave. He'll probably leave as he wants to play more knowing that there isn't too much time for him in pro football left (he'll soon be 30 years old befre anyone realizes that) and there should be some Mikitani's yens to lift from the pitch also. Kobe? It looks like it's very probable as they're pretty concrete on this case with official offer already (or it should be soon) handed to Kashima.

He scores but he's not really though. He's the kind of guy who can have a shit season if he doesn't get perfect service. Gamba could be a perfect team though as they have the passing game in the league. But they also burn strikers, see Hirai Shoki (remember him ? me neither).
