It is great to take two on the road to start the season. I hope Fana was not badly injured. Looked like a groin strain on the game feed. We need to get players well before May. In that month, we will need every able body. The schedule and travel looks brutal.

But for now enjoy. Two home games ahead. Vamos Islanders!

Hell yes. The islanders are a very good home team, so I wouldn't be surprised if we win our next to games and start with 12 out of 12 points:D

Islanders beat the stars 3-1 in a great game with great atmosphere and plenty of people. 1st place baby.

PRI tie the Strikers 2-2 with a last minute goal. Still undefeated.

I like what the Islanders are doing this season. One man down and we still dominate the game, amazing!

I think that the concerns about the lost of Gaudette has been forgotten, Burse has much heart, attitude, desire and commitment with the team. I dare to say that more than Gaudette...

The start has been amazing, but I'm not getting too excited until/if we win the CFU cup. I think that will be the start of proving wether CC really wants to win things this year or not.

OK but what about the attendance? Looking at clips of the Islanders over the last 2 seasons, the on-field parformance has been good, but off-field is . . .

Yeah we haven't been drawing in the crowds but its not like we are doing bad either. Also in the earlier year comping tickets was a huge things for the first 4 years you could go to every season game and not pay, they stoped that now we have a measure of the real attendance and we have to start working to make it better, I hope the new GM can make that happen.

If you count all competitive games, we haven't lost one since Rochester in the playoffs last year, this makes it 10 I think.
