Group isn't won. Winner between CRC and MEX will avoid USA until the final. Besides, even if group was won, Chicharito should play (at least 45+ mins) . . . the fans who paid 300+ dollars for them and their family should be able to watch Team A play.

CRC won't beat Mexico (they may draw). Mexico, nor any team at any world cup, Euro Cup etc, don't care how much fans paid to see the game. They will put out the guys they need/want. A rested Chicharito annoying the fans is of no concern to Mexico, same goes for USA and Landycakes.

Sorry, the group is won. Mexico has it.

I don't think so. I think Chicharito will play at least the 1st half. We'll see.

You sound pretty confident, but all you're doing is setting yourself up.

Just hope for now that you don't have to swallow your own words later, you math genius.

Mexico will win the group. I have confidence in my team. and if by a miracle they don't, its ok. We will win the cup anyways.

I now hereby claim this bet. By claiming this bet I am now entitled to a remuneration in incremental proportion to the odds stipulated by the bookmaker. By obtaining an incremental return on the wager, the bet is said to have been "won".

Therefore, as long as a profit is gained and money is made, I still win no matter what.

I'm glad Chicharito and the rest of Team A played . . . good for the fans over there.

    A) I am not a Mexican or a Mexican supporter.

    B) Math has nothing to do with it. Mexico will win the group. CR won't beat them. It's nothing to be ashamed about!

    C) Yes, CR may beat them, but I doubt it.

    D) Faiyez....what was that you were saying?

I am a Canadian and proud of it, but I am realistic about my football team!

    Given that

    1. It is demonstrable that Statement B was subject to error prior to the game.

    2. Statement C admits to the possibility of said error.

    3. Statements B and C basically contradict each other.

    Conclusion: Your reasoning is flawed.

    E) You're reaching!

CR was never going to beat Mexico, and yes, I was admitting that in life anything can happen, especially in sport - I'll refer you to Birmingham winning the League Cup and being in Europa League next year. I was not contradicting, I was being open to possibilities.

CR is a good team and no I don't by any stretch of the imagination think Canada would have any kind of easy time with them and we'd be very happy to get a tie or win against CR for the most part. But they were never going to beat Mexico in the GC!

haha, don't worry about losing to Mexico - greater teams than CR have also lost to Mexico. Nothing to be ashamed of. They are tourney favourites after all.

Didn't think this was the case before, but as group play is down to one final match it is clear - the group of death was in fact Group C.

I think young is a done deal. With or without sneijder, i think cheech will score a lot.

Cheech will get another 20ish goals. His technical game isn't all that strong. He will become another Solksjaer. Reliable, goal scorer, athletic, intelligent, loved by teammates, but will be replaced by a more technical player up front (who has a higher work rate than Berbs....)

Sorry I should note - Ole Gunnar was a very good technical player but MUFC usually preferred a more athletic player start in his spot....
