    Bye Bye Wilsterman.

This tourney shouldn't be used as a gauge for Hoyos. He'll be with the team for barely 3 weeks, and to be honest, isn't enough time to fully implement his style with efficiency. We'll certainly see shades of it which will likely produce immediate results in the Bolivian league, but I don't expect much from Bolivar.

^^^^^ well not really bye bye wilster. According the La Razon, a group of investors are putting a lot of money on a new copa libertadores coach and hiring 6 big argentinean players. They are planning to make an 80% argentinean team and their goal is advance to the third face.

Everyone here does not buy it, especially when Edgar Davids is one of the names being thrown around.

The only thing is that I see is that a team will be brought in to play just in the Copa, but I'm not sure how much money these investors can make on their money...I'll see it when I believe it.

Even if Wilster made an "all star" team, they wouldn't have any chemistry what so ever. They need more time. They're going to look shamefull in this tourny.

Good luck to Bolivar and Oriente.

Vargas and Carinao on the bench.... Maybe they both come in instead of Da Rosa and Gomes??? I still dotn get why Gomes is there. Isnt he a setup man?

Tough first half, our boys playing good though, should have had a crazy goal from that Lorgio Alvarez goal.... WOW! Da rosa is screwing up though. Cardozo is playing pretty good, and seems to be heating up as the game keeps going. Nacho is our hardest tackler and shows what europe does to a player. He is the most solid in the defensive mid position. Flores isnt doing shit, he needs to get out. Put Carinao in for him.

Our boys are playing well though, with how the game is going, we very well could take this in Chile. We just need a goal for the game to go in our favor. Their left forward Monje is tearing us to SHREDS. We are lucky they havent scored yet, and this reminds me of our game in la paz.

Monje though is cutting up that right side of our team. His feints and tricks is a abdon reyes up front.

Edemir Rodriguez reminds me of MLS defender Marvell Wynne. Fast, strong, but his touch is of stone, and his soccer brain isnt there. He isnt NT material IMO. Hoyos over him.

hahahaha. Come on man. Don't offend Rodriguez like that :p. Im going to go ahead and say his touch is better than Wynne's.Wynne can't cut it on his own NT . Rodriguez is coming into his own.i think we're watching different games.his touch isn't the best but he's got a OK touch. Most of the attack came from the right side when edemir and ruddy connected. i don't think i saw edemir lose any balls tonight(ill check later).one of his crosses was one of the best chances we had at scoring only if vargas would have had better positioning.

Now on Vargas, i don't see any danger coming from him at all.

our best player was Cardozo no doubt but it's obvious we need a strong central attacker.overall we have a good team with a few open spots.Hoyos can't be mad only for the fact we didn't go through to the next round.

He is good for Bolivar and the league, but he is our Wynne. I mean he's better then wynne with his feet lol, but his control is clumsy sometimes and his soccer imagination isnt there as a right back who should be pretty good at attacking wtih feints and crosses.

He did do better in the second half though. He's a good player.... but I still got Hoyos over him for the NT.

With that said, today Bolivar gave EVERYTHING. Lorgio alvarez was EXCELLENT when coming up. His fitness seems to be there, he took his shirt off at the end of the game, while he isnt ripped...... he lost most of his gut. His shot, imagination, fents, defense, all is sharp.

On our new guys, Frrontini SAVED OUR ASS. He is a solid CB. Arguello.... good lord what a keeper! I'll say it again, best keeper in bolivia. His reflexes and how he kept us in the game... nothing short of spectacular. I like what Frontini adds on corners and FKs. Dangerous with his head, good wtih his feet. What we need right now out of a CB.

Ruddy was good, our best player offensively, his speed, cuts, crosses, all good. He started rusty but got better as the game progressed. He is the future for this team. His FK too that the GK barely saved.... man. His crosses and corners were always dangerous.

Its too bad abdon got out with that injury that was bothering him before he came to Chile. Had he stayed, god knows the havoc he'd have caused on the left side. Alvarez took over though on that side as far as offense went.

Flores, nothing. Nothing to show for. Hopefully the new argentine maestro can take his place in the center. Nacho garcia had great tackles, great jumping clears, but he earned a yellow real early from that dangerous studs up tackle, and I knew it was over from there. He plays rough, thats his style, ubt once he gets a yellow... you always know a nother very well might follow. Best player in the midfield besides cardozo, he played his distribution role as our Def. mid perfect.

Da rosa, terrible. He slowed down toe attack too much, Hoyos saw it, out at the half. Vargas added energy, good player. Marcelo Gomes was ok.... nothing special. I would rather seee Carniao over him.

The youth subs played well, Diego Rivero played strong, Bustillos fast, solid as the RB. Edemir interesting when pushed up more and given more space. Not enough creativity though.

Soooo unlucky with Lorgio with taht header post he had on the defender clear. Same goes in the last dying minutes when he was wrongfully flagged offside. Had that not been flagged, that very well could have been a goal for us.... ref screwed us. :(

Union espanola is going to get crushed. Not good of a team. Bolivar shopuld have done better in La Paz, but it happens. Now its time for our boys to focus on the league and CRUSH ALL TEAMS!!! :p

Danilo was asking for a raise (about 19 monthly I heard a dirigente) and he got a better offer while discussing about his signing.
New offensive player now is Chapa Fernandez From Rosario Central and was strongly recommended from coach Cufaro Russo. He played 5 minutes against The Strongest and seemed like he deserved to be in this all star team. :)
He is as tall as Joselito Vaca so we got another one for Cinderella.

Anyone got any streams for the Wilster/Jaguares game?

Bad news is I'm expecting Wilster to get massacred.

Good news is all the players will be argi mercs.

Jaguares looked REALLLLLY good vs. Alianza lima..... So I dont have much hope. But either way, imagine if they pull a win! LOL

Try www.rojadirecta.es as they have IMO the best libertadores streams, quality wise.

I really have no interest in this game for two reasons one, they are not representing Bolivia at all and two there is not a single player in the line up, so unless I see amilcar sanchez and the other bolivian guy in the field, it's the same to me whether they win or lose

Jaguares looked good but Alianza looked not so good in both games... first game a man down i believe; if my memory serves me right, and on the second game they did ok... I hope el rojo can pull it off...because, I believe the ones that will lose more will be American football inc. since they are using this as a windows for they players; however, as far as the money it will be divided 50/50 between the AFI and JW... JW can use that money and invest it wisely.

"Para este encuentro, Neveleff tiene dos dudas. La primera es si mantendrá al único boliviano en la alineación titular, el volante de contención Cristian Machado, o lo reemplazará por el argentino Iani Verón. La otra duda es la delantera, ya que pese a que el brasileño Fabio Mineiro tiene más horas de trabajo bajo su conducción, es el uruguayo Jesús Toscanini –que llegó último– el que más promesa de gol le ofrece."
