A bit of good news on the injury front... http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...itle=monday_diary_–_warnock_on_city_near_miss "Keiron Dyer has returned to light training following the injury he suffered against Bolton on day one, and will be available for selection again in December according to the Ealing Gazette."
Hogan Ephraim has gone on loan to Charlton through January 3rd. http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2516508,00.html
Looks like they might want to make it permanent, as well. http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...s-permanent-move-for-qpr-star-64767-29806576/ In a tangential vein, as much as I love Taraabt's play (when he decides to turn up, that is), I'm fairly square behind Warnock's statement that he'd drive Adel to Paris himself if PSG offered 20MM. As today's match amply demonstrated, R's need help in the backline come the January window. Plus, given Barton's sociopathy, I fear for Adel's safety if he keeps up his current (and past) whiny attitude. Joey's just going to kick him a new a$$hole, sooner or later. And as much as I despise the felonious bastard, Barton gives R's a better chance of staying up than Taraabt, I believe. Realpolitik, writ large. But there we are...
Lee Cook has gone on loan to Orient for one month. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15870319.stm
Our 1st and 2nd keepers are injured; our 3rd keeper is 37 and played in just 2 games last season and we were forced to call back a kid who was on loan at Boreham Wood (!) in the 6th tier of English football to be our backup because the Premier League will not let us sign anyone. http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2528954,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15905339.stm
Lee Cook will remain at Orient through Jan. 21st. http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2552800,00.html
Just to let you all know, Neil Warnock was sacked today, with Keith Curle and the other coaches also going. The odds on favourite to come in is Mark Hughes. He should be coming in sometime in the next couple of days. I can't start a new topic on this, being a new member, but I reckon you'll take Chris Samba off us as well.
Can't believe we've lost Ale Faurlin for the season. I wouldn't have let Warnock go at this point, but the loss of Faurlin hurts is a tough one for the R's.
Hughes is a better manager. Warnock is no clown, but if you have Hughes and Fernandes supports him he'll turn you into a team which won't fear relegation at all. I wish he'd return to Blackburn, put it that way.
http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...y-defender-s-qpr-move-on-hold-82029-30108780/ "Nedum Onuoha's £3million move to QPR has been put on hold while Vincent Kompany serves a four-game ban." Well, he was pretty good under Hughes a few years ago... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roque_Santa_Cruz#2007.E2.80.9308_season
budding star Henrique signed on an 18 month loan http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...o-starlet-henrique-to-join-qpr-on-loan-report

Rumors flying around that Fernandes/Hughes are offering Onouha 80k per week in wages. Madness! I hope Fernandes knows what he's getting into on the budgeting side. Want the team to get better this month, but not at the risk of our long term solvency.
80k is stupid money and cannot be true. On the other hand, Taye Taiwo on a 6 month loan deal will be a phenomenal move http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/7442889/QPR-agree-Taiwo-deal
Henrique failed to get a work permit http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...eal-for-brazil-u20-henrique-collapses?cc=5901 And no deal for Alex http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2091031/Alex-verge-4m-PSG-move.html Hopefully Taiwo will join soon. And no word on Samba for awhile.
"...and because he has not yet made his debut for the senior Brazil team." If you can't add something to the English game until you get into one of the 3 best national sides in the world, the English game must be better than I thought. Golden Shoe at the U-20 World Cup doesn't do it, eh?
On the 19th, the Guardian indicated "The Blackburn Rovers manager, Steve Kean, has held talks with Chris Samba and told the unsettled defender he will not be sold. Kean, who rejected a formal transfer request from Samba after an approach from Queens Park Rangers was turned down, said he explained that the club are determined the centre-back honours his contract." http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jan/19/blackburn-steve-kean-chris-samba
